QueenZipp - 2008-10-24 7:06 PM baby just hit the keyboard and enlarged the page on the screen.  I don't know what key he hit or how to fix it

You got a mouse scroller on your mouse?

If so, hold down the Ctrl key and at the same time, scroll the mouse scroller up or down to the desired screen "magnified" size, then stop holding the Ctrl key.

gee, now I need to bake banana nut bread with chocolae chunks for you too

esc - 2008-10-24 6:55 PM I think everyone must be off having some Friday night fun.

Just finished up with a run.  6.35 mi.

My fingers and wrists are quite functional from the cool air yet.  Very hard to coordinate the typing skills.

I'm just getting ready to head over to the fitness center for an easy run.  I'm still stuffy from the cold so my goal is to not dribble snot all over the treadmill.

I like to blow my nose freely when I run so I have to run outside

Evening everyone. Seems quiet around here. I went to the race expo then to a wine bar. It was new so the service sucked, but I always enjoy time with my sister.

Yeah, but who's gonna help me out?  I'm whooped!  My girls did most of it, I had the little guy towards the end cause he was really getting cranky.  Held him when they were getting some dinner too.   That's when he hit the computer and enlarged the screen print.  It was like seeing the page on steroids, couldn't fit a post on the screen.

I don't know how you do it. Kids are an enormous amount of work. I'd be too wiped to do triathlons!

So Laura and I just got back from a 5k event, but there wasn't any T-Shirts given out.  I feel so cheated.  We walked it with Bandit (our 5 year old Beagle), who was dressed like a prisoner.

Ah, but I like the balancing of the 3 sports and cross training.  If I just ran--which I love to do...I'd be 1.  bored, 2. injured. . Having a good swim and bike workout just keeps me balanced (and quite often humbled)

Woo Hoo!  Tonight's little run put me at 95% of my challenge goal.  If all goes as planned I should go over 100% tomorrow.

I've got a long run on the schedule for tomorrow but there's also a Purdue home football game.  I'm not sure if we'll be tailgating or not.  I want to hang out with the crew but I also kind of want to sleep in.  One of the major downsides to rooting for a bad football team (other than having to go to sad football games) is that the games generally start at noon.  So tailgating starts at 8.  Which means up at 7ish.  Way too early for me.

While I'm in here talking to myself...

I watched a pretty decent movie today called Run, Fatboy, Run.  It stars Simon Pegg as a bit of a loser who decides to run a marathon to win back his ex.  It's occasionally cheesy and predictable.  But, dudes, Simon Pegg is freakin' hysterical.  Trust me on this one; it's worth the rental just to see the blister scene.

Morning Dark Arts!

wow 8:45 am ET and we're already talking about booze

LOL!

To my defense.... It was 2:45pm over here and I was already out of the office... So, booze is completely appropriate! ;-)

From the looks of the sky I need a gazillion layers for my run today.  Might look like the old Fat Albert show where the kid who was skinny got enormous for all the layers of winter clothes his mama made him wear!

Did 2.1 miles this morning with my dog to get him some exercise too.  100% challenge completed, and will add more tomorrow and Mon. and possibly Wed. to the total to help out some more.

Thurs. and Fri. I'll be out of here and enjoying 2 days off with my sons at a Waterpark!  Woo-hoo!!
