Hmmm ... I wouldn't be very pleased with myself but I'm certainly going to be far less pleased with myself if I'm crashing on someone's couch and scrounging leftovers ... Options are not good and they all pay a lot less. Applying for jobs, ESPECIALLY now, is a lengthy process before you get one, especially a decent one. I'm desperate. My one job is gone and I'm having my hours cut at the other (nothing I did; just company tightening down due to the economy). I do have a tiny bit of money coming in as I'm selling bike stuff off, but that's of course not a renewable resource. As of right now I have 98 cents in the bank and a few dollars in change. |

It can get really depressing living on a tight budget for too long.. at least in my experience... but in contrast for what some people go thrugh i know I havent experienced the worst... Any more clarity on it today? I've given situations like this a lot of thought. Ideally, I don't want to work for a tobacco company when I graduate (they recruit pretty heavily from my university and my program), but if I didn't have any other offers and Andy and I needed the money, I would take it and try to find another job as quickly as I could. It's not ideal, but sometimes you have to do things to get through. |
