Cute!  You don't want to do 50 on your stationary bike?

Mm, I thought about it. Briefly. But everything goes numb after about 15 minutes on that thing. Of course, if I could do it in 15-20 minute intervals, then it might be possible.....

When's the Big Day?

Ah, March 14th. I see you told Cat. I should have just kept reading.

mchally - 2010-02-20 8:45 PM I had an interview today with the gal who is hiring for her housecleaning company.  It went well.  I will most likely be doing a paid working interview on Tuesday.  The starting wage is $15 an hour.

I will probably work with her until spring quarter of school starts up and then see what works with my school schedule.

and then there is the landscaping job too...I need to find out what the hourly wage would be.

That's great news!  You've been hunting a paid job a while.

yep, a nice positive trend of job possibilities.
That's great! TWO job possibilities! Let us know what happens.

aaaaannnd it's back to one.  The cleaning company gal thought that I would be great at the job, but when I go back to school in April I won't be able to work mornings and that was a deal-breaker.  She encouraged me to contact her again if my schedule changes.

Well, that's not all bad -- she didn't say "no." She said "contact me if your schedule changes." Any news about the landscaping job yet?

Was not happy this morning but Ive had a good hour or so which makes me happy... especially since its practically lunch time! So I will feel like eating

Ive had a 3 day weekend (took yesterday as a pre-planned sick day) so it will be Thurs/Friday when I start to really fall apart again I suspect!

The actual b-day is March 8.  It's a Monday (sigh) so that doesn't work.  My ride buddy can't do the weekend before my b-day so the real & virtual ride are the 14th.  Post pics of the ride!  I want to see where everyone is!

I am working the home show this week for Adam on commission.  If any of my leads sign a contract I get 5%.  We are talking about future work and what sort of role I would take in his company.  He would start me at $14 per hour.  It sounds like things that I would enjoy.  I just need to talk about when I can actually jump on board.

He has a great dog that goes everywhere with him.  It is an old Rott/border collie mix...heavy, furry, sweet and super mellow.

Here is a link to his website if you are interested in seeing what kind of stuff I would be doing.  It shows more of the hardscaping side of the company.  He also does lighting, irrigation, planting and such.

Thanks Mel! As a positive it does make me appreciate the moments when I feel decent Sometimes we forget its mostly all the little nice things in life that can make up happy... I think one of hte great things about dealing with this is that you have to slowly teach yourself how to appreciate what you CAN do... rather than being upset about what you cant...

I must say though... sometimes its a lot harder said than done!
