lisac957 - 2010-10-11 2:47 PM Half price martini night... who's with me?!

I had my first martini ever Friday night - holy strongness!!  BLECH!  It was a strawberry one.  No wonder I'm not a fan of vodka.

Nooooo! Nunna that fruity shiznitini. Martini is gin, vermouth, green olive.

Hmmmm, I thought it had vodka - better check the menu again.

Gin?  Blech.  I hate the taste of pine tree.

I'm sorry miss: You ordered an alleged drink? Or were you expecting a fruit smoothie?

When properly made, you swril the vermouth in the shaker, throw it out, then fill with good quality gin (Sapphire or Hendrick's) and ice. Shake (or better yet muddle) and strain into an ice cold glass with 3 oversized olives. It's done correctly if it fingers on the rim.

Sounds fantastic Kate! I got rat fu(#ed at work. I'ma not going to last very long without sayin 3-4 things which could get me fired. Work my azz off just to get b!tched out in an inapprporiate way. No thanks.

Next time you have questions about something like expenses, look at what's been sitting on your desk for 2 GD weeks.

Why don't we get drunk and skrew? I've got enough liquor and left over painkillers to drop a horse stone cold.

I did spend the last 20min of my day (after a double barrel email humiliation) looking over resume.doc and a board for a company I'd like to work for. Found 1 marketing job I like. Will fire up the network if tomorrow sux too.

I have frequent flyer and hotel points. Where are we going? New Orleans? Miami? San Diego?

New Orleans sounds interesting I have never been there.  Someplace on the coast of Maine or the Pacific northwest sounds even better what do you think?

I was planning a nap, but had really bad heartburn.

Then I spent the last near-hour dealing with pretty much the most disgusting thing I've ever had to deal with, and this is from someone who has no problem with rotting corpses, all manner of dissection, attended a lot of surgeries, performed them on animals ... EEEEEEEEEEEW!!!!!!!

I am heating water for a shower, and could really use the Ativan/keto for this ridiculous headache. I am, however, waiting for the Mylanta to take effect.

It sounds like you need some one to wash you down with that nice warm water.

Then give you a nice loverly massage to reliever the tension from the headache.

Wait, I'm taking both of you on vacation so I can cook for you? Well...OK...I love making women happy in every way possible. You 2 put on a show and I'll saute!

Somehow I could really go for an oyster po boy and a Dixie beer for lunch, a mid-afternoon mint julep bt the flaming fountain at Patty O'Brian's and dinnerj well...that's intimate.

I srsly h8 my boss today. She was really mean for no damn good reason. And she wonders why we cut her out from information. The absolute best way to kill my productivity is to pizz me off. The absolute way to get the most from me is to be thankful and complimentary.
