My numbers look good.  Last night I went for 45 minutes on the trainer.  I didn't want to deal with all the rain...again.

Newbie Barloworlder blasts the competition -- alone!!! Here at BT, we're doing it together ... watch our wake. Overzealous to the point of impropriety ... and victory ...

Well now I know who won the stage tonight.

I got in a ride today during a break in the lab.  Just over 20 miles, about 1200 feet of climbing.  I would call it rolling hills.

Subject: RE: Credit Agricole Team Thread

Hi - there has been a few requests in the last 24 hours to STOP posting live TDF updates in team threads. This is due to a lot of people wanting to watch the action later in the day WITHOUT knowing the results.

Would enough people be interested in taking the live action related discussions to another thread out of the team threads to avoid this issue? Team leaders can you please let me know?

I must admit Im probably the most guilty of this as I genuinely want teams to know whats happening with their pro counterparts to really get into it... and with me watching it live til 2am then heading straight it bed I get REALLY excited and post results...

But... its more a time difference related head spin. I totally understand having to delay watching the action... I know not everyone can devote their whole life to TDF action for a month!

So my suggestion... is this....

1) No results from the previous nights stage will be posted in any Team thread until the next days stage starts... giving everyone 24 hours to watch the action or at least KNOW what to expect

2) Set up a seperate TDF Challenge - Live Action thread for teams to talk about their pro riders... (if there is enough interest)

3) If teams are happy to have stage updates posted in their Team thread let me know and I will continue - otherwise 24 hour code of silence applies to EVERYONE taking part in the challenge

What do you all think?

I guess I'm one of the trouble makers.  I really don't want any live updates in the threads.  It should be in a separate thread so that you don't have to read it.

Not a trouble maker! Otherwise you cant post on your team thread until youve watched the action.... so it HAS to go one way or another... Im sure no one wants to ruin your viewing!

I promise to get some miles in today... does that count? I've got at least a 20 miler on the agenda, but it may end up more as I get going. It will be hilly.

Ok as I mentioned earlier I have set up a thread to discuss the results of your team in the tour... its in the challenge forum and I suggest you use it to talk about the teams successes and make sure everyone else see's it!!

As I suggested earlier there is to be no talking about the previous stage in team threads UNTIL the next stage commences.... (24 hours ish)

Please get in on the action its been very entertaining so far, and remember to take it in the spirit of fun and team spirit it is intended.

Happy Cycling

40km (25miles), very very very very windy. Mostly flat course, but I did ride 50minutes into 35mph headwind. Brutal I tell you!

I had watched about half of it (just before the two last climbs) in the morning.  I did end up watching it, but fast forwarded some of it.  There were definitely parts worth watching.  Mountain days are always exciting.

Heh.  That's kind of funny.

Hi team.  I went for an hour and thirty minute ride yesterday...on my new bike.  Finally, the weather cooperated.  I have to admit: I'm in love.  Anyhow, I'm not sure about the distance, so I'm going to be safe and say that it was 26 miles...flat with a few rolling hills.

Short ride for me today (only 10 miles) - pretty flat.  I'm a bit sore so i couldn't go any longer.
