Logistical Question! We are coming down from the north. Meeting a friend from the south. I bought the campsite w/ festival tix. If two cars go in do you have to pay for a whole new campsite or is there a cost for an additional car? Don't know if we can fit his bike in one car. Is there in n out privileges. Can we go in and drop off our stuff and then go back and get his bike if we were to park 20-30 minutes away? Any help on figuring this out would be great.

ChrisM - 2009-04-15 1:13 PM Honestly Tim the large majority of people roll in Friday lunch-ish.  It's not until late in the day Friday that people start ending up on the side of the road.....   We're also loeaving, probably 5:30-6 Friday, get there a little before lunch.

A good option is to stop in Paso at Subway or wherever and bring in lunch, takes the edge off setting up al the cr@p

I was trying to remember... I think technically they close transition at whatever time.  But no one enforces it, as far as I can recall.

Ballyb3 - 2009-04-22 8:13 AM Bay Area has had a nice little heat wave. Good for training for possible heat at Wildflower. 10 day forecast for Friday, the night before in Paso Robles is 76. Will let us know tomorrow what the expected weather will be on Saturday! I'm wearing all black and I'm not made for the heat (100% Irish). The heat will be my enemy...

Also a friend of mine emailed Tricalifornia about our issue yesterday:

No in and out  - once in the park.

Every vehicle entering the park has to have a camping pass if staying
overnight.  The pass is per vehicle.  So, it saves you money to come
together in one vehicle with a pass.

If needed, you can purchase additional passes at the gate - $70 per night.

Hi!  We are a group coming in for the Wildflower event and have purchased
one camping pass for the event.  We have a friend who wants to join us

I'm the contrarian today...I want a pink cap (white would be so *yawn*) since I don't have one yet...maybe it will match my evening gown and wig.  And whatever cap color I receive, I'll likely end up with 2 of the same color!
