Happy Saturday Vamps! I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I just finished 8 miles this morning - ahh it was nice. I took that picture of the beach yesterday afternoon and then it rained all night long - no rain for the run, perfect! Have a great day!

Well here is how we are shaping up ad of 9:00pm on Sunday. I will wait till Monday to log your hours. Please, as always, let me know of any changes to your commitement.

As it is shaping up my challenge of 58% didn't mean much. Dolores took the lead with her commanding run this weekend at 65.8%, CathyD was a close second with her end of week spree at 65.3% and Devouhay took third with a strong second week and nice consistent runs at 60.2%.

Of course I will mention that I brought up fourth place so y'all better watch out... unless the rest of you have miles you didn't log. Then I will be happy and sad at the same time. Lets just call it conflicted.

Great week everyone even with the unfortunate injuries.

I do believe you missed my massive, personal best for a long run.  I'm at 31 miles total for the month to date, which bumps just over the 50% mark.  Ta da!

Yeah... No clue how I messed that one up. It is now fixed on my tracking sheet. Thank you for the audit.

Great job on the run by the way.

First, congratulation to all on doing such a great job, and let's keep it strong. Let's get out there, and get running folks.  I would like to at least have a team score of 100% at the end. If we can go above that, let's do it also.

Hope you all had a great weekend, and Macca finally did it. He is the new Ironman World Champion, and with a 2:42 run, that is amazing. Now why don't we us that as a model, and get ourself out there on run. He had an almost 11min deficiency on the bike, and managed to come up and win. WOW!!

If anyone did not know, he will be here in Las Vegas, NV for the Silverman in November. So come out, and see how he and Dave Scott will race it side by side. Should be a very interesting race.

All right Vampires, 45% is unnaceptable at this point of the game. Let's get together, suck lots of blood this week, and see if we can come up on top. Let's get our team scores up to 75% by Sunday night.

Those two on the bottom, shame on you, you are transforming back to humans.  Huuuuugh! I'd rather keep that strength that vampireidism gives me. (I know, just created a new word).

Happy Monday to all, and have a great week. I'll be on travel out to Oregona dn Guam this week. All business. Cheers!!

Good day to you Vampires, I hope your all up and running around logging those miles. I rode the bike today with no ankle pain what so ever, not even sore. Tomorrow I will swim and hopefully ease back into the run on Wednesday. I might yet be able to log my miles. Don't worry I won't overdue it, the first sign of pain and I'll stop.

Great job... Noticeable after correcting my complete brain fart on Melhindi's totals.

By the way my wife wanted to let you know that she really thinks vampires are cool and hot... Thats two people now that think we are great so lets keep it going

DoloresM2 - 2007-10-12 5:38 PM I just wanted to share the day with everyone - after a tough week of just STUFF and more junk. After walking the dog this afternoon, I had to stop and take in the view. Man, I just love living here! I hope everyone has a great weekend!

That is an awesome view...it would inspire me to be outdoors as much as possible! Hope this is a much better week for you.

Good job everyone... we're halfway there.  I'll be logging  some miles over the next few days, and should be getting another longish run in before the end of the month.   Hope you all are running well, and able to reach your goals.

Hello Vampires! I hope everyone is well and running hard. I just put in my 4.6 miles on my usual route this morning - faster than usual I might add. Its funny I did not want to do it. I procrastinated for about an hour and then told myself to just go ahead and go already. It felt good from the start none of that ugliness that comes at the beginning - I am glad I went. I got to visit with a neighbor and schnoodle her 3 puggies - Daisy, Daphne and Spanky. I just love'm!

Have a great day everybody - I'll probably have another mile to add before the day is out. The car's in the shop so I am on foot at least half a mile from the shop and I have to go back of course later...

Good job everybody, I am so proud. Way to meet the goals we've laid out for ourselves. Muah ha ha ha ha!!

Alright I'm back to running! Slight soreness in the beginning but ended well. Only 2 miles but I should be able to slowly make up the miles by the end of the month. Go Vampires! We can make it back towards the top of the leader board by next week. Run Bats, run.

What a mess this week has been. It is just before I head off to work early to get some stuff done. Got a job offer yesterday from my old company. And throw on top of it the Indians are playing tonight and WILL win. (but that means an 8:00 first pitch and the game wont be done until 12:00 at the earliest, ugh)

Busy day. Hope to get 8 in tonight. I only have to do 4 more 8 mile runs to get to 98%. So I will be there without a problem.

Lets get running vampires. We need to hit it hard to win this thing.

Alright! I'm back to running again. It won't be big miles as I have had to re-evaluate my long runs. I'm up to 50% now and should be at 60% by Saturday. I will make my challenge and carry my weight. Go Vampires!.

Get your last minute runs in so we can move back up on that leader board and suck the blood out of the rest of the teams. You can do it! Go Vampires!

Happy Saturday everybody - I ran 8.5 today. I was supposed to only do 8 but passed the turnaround like a big dork that I am. Oh well, it worked out okay - it was an okay run. Didn't feel good til it was almost over...sometimes it just goes that way huh?

I hope everyone's doing okay, its way too quiet! Are we quietly out for blood? I hope so.

Keep runnin - Go Vampires!
