I've been playing RockBand with my husband and a friend.  So much fun!

Anyway...missed the discussion on smoking in restaurants.  I used to live in Madison, WI and they banned smoking before I left there.  Then I moved to Richmond and there's no way smoking is going to get banned here.  I miss having non-smoking restaurants.  It's so much nicer to go out and have drinks with people.  Usually for dinner, we only go to restaurants that don't have any smoking. 

Eeew IN restaurants where people are eating? Not in outdoor areas only???

I dont think I could handle that! 

Yeah...inside!  It's disgusting!! 

Im going to have a little vent

1) I dont think people realise that when I run a challenge I am NOT paid for it, I am not part of BT, it is NOT my job and I just do it out of the kindness of my heart (on top of a full time work week, cooking, cleaning, training and all the other things life throws at us)

2) I am just a regular BT user just like everyone else, I PAY for my own membership - I cannot edit posts so if I accidentally missed your name off a list of 120 people when I typed up the teams don't tell me to change it, just accept that its a big job, I made a mistake, and I am NOT being paid or rewarded for it - I set up the teams, honour YOUR requests, set up the team threads, and inspire ALL 120 people with the team posting, find images for avatars and cruise all the team threads incase there are challegne queries... I dont HAVE to do it so how about saying THANK YOU instead of complaining??? (if you want it done professionally gimme the cash and I will)

3) If you don't like my choice of challenge for the month run your own... its a members thing so if you are a member here and benefit from it... give something back... stop complaining and start doing...

Sorry this is not aimed at any of the Nibbs but one person in particular has really annoyed me this week and Im hoping by posting this in Nibbs Im getting it off my cheast!

I love you Cat!  You're doing a great job with the challenge and I appreciate all the hard work you're putting in to this.

If you want me to firmly inform said person of some of these things, I would be more than happy to.  I can be your muscle for the month.   

haha its ok Jen... I just needed to vent... I think writing a 'how the challenges work' thing might be a good idea some time!

Cat... I know you're at spin class, but vent any time!  It is a huge undertaking to do the challenges and it sucks that anyone would hassle you about it.  We all appreciate you .

Thanks - I love it 98.5% of the time... I just wonder if the issue is a matter of people thinking Im part of the BT website in some way and thats why I get these kinds of requests...

I'm sure if everyone realised they were done entirely in someones free time for no financial reward or even membership reward (Ive been a paying member here since 2005) they would be more patient...

I totally wish you could officially put that out there at the begining of these challenges.  It is an enormous undertaking and much appreciated. The loser that complains is  a total jerk in my book. 

Heck, it's work being captain of a team and managing the spread sheet/double checking logs.  You have to do a whole lot more than that.  We <3 you, Cat.

Hey Cat... b/c you're the one running the challenge... and you're the one that has the right to assign him to a team... I would remind him to be nice or he won't get to play...

Some people can be so ignorant and oblivious at times. 

You, Dee, Beth, Kendra and so few others (actually many including team captains) have put forth the dedication, time, and effort to these challenges.  Know that there are some of us that are extrememly appreciative.  Without these challenges I know that I would not be dedicating as much time to my training.  You guys have helped me a TON!!!

Morning everyone!!  I slept so long last night (about 10 hours).  It's crazy!

Don't have much planned for today: a bike ride, eyebrow wax, and lots of laundry.  Might put together a grocery shopping list, too, but that sounds like a lot more work. 

I just want you to know that I soooooooooooooooooooo appreciate all you are and have done! there is always one in every crowd! do not pay any attention to them....

send them to our team....I have some great ideas for them:

or tell them to go to the Peeps bar and have a cup of whine....

or to go make a call to someone who gives a flying peep!

and if that doesn't work......
