MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: Challenge Chat (aka Nibbs XVII) - come join us :) Okay, Relay For Life went really well. I'm not sure what we raised this year, but we were ahead of schedule going into the day. Lots of activities for everyone. The Relay Museum, which I was involved in this year got a lot of visitors. Yeah. Survivor walk was fun. I always get emotional during it. I used to get emotional just watching all the survivors, espicially the little ones, but now that this is my 3rd year walking it, I get even more emotional. The energy that the crowd sends the survivors way is just overwhelming. I never realized what a powerful thing it is until I started walking it. Got home after midnight (I usually don't spend the whole night) and slept the sleep of the dead for 6 hours before getting back up and heading over to start cleaning everything up. Then ran over to REI for some things, picked up a couple of movies to watch tonight and tomorrow and then did a bike ride this afternoon. Needed to do something to get some energy going and the ride was great. Going to go and make dinner and curl up in front of a movie. Have a great Saturday evening Nibbs. When will you be putting yours on the market in NE? thanks Kendra I'll be putting my house on the market within the next week or so hopefully - still a few things that need to get taken care of so it's ready from my blog, because I am The house hunting thing went pretty well, I really like the realtor I stumbled into. I met her 2 weeks ago at an open house that I just happened to stop at because I drove by - get this - she likes the same authors, has 3 kids, one of her daughters is a swimmer, her son plays soccer - I think it is going to be a good fit We saw six homes - none of them was the perfect fit, but the good news is that it helped her so she can narrow down what I am looking for.

Pro 4507 Simpsonville, SC | Subject: RE: Challenge Chat (aka Nibbs XVII) - come join us :) Today was a very weird day. Got up at 5am, drove to the race site at 6am. Started race @8:30. Did a two mile cool down run after the race @9:45. Did a quick change in the back of the van, loaded up my stuff and drove to Furman at 10:30. Got to the recital hall at 11:30. Left dance recital at 2pm. Finally ate lunch at 2:30. Let me tell you, that is a long time to go on just a clif bar eaten at 5:30 and a bottle of cytomax consumed during the race. Still haven't made the Mother's Day Coffeecake and guess what? It may not happen this year. I did my sprint in 1:13:00. I wanted to do a 1:10 so I'm kind of bummed, but that's the way the cookie crumbles. It was still lots of fun. I'll do a race report once the age group info is online. I placed 21st out of the ladies and I think 2nd inm y age group. Don't know for sure cuz I left before the results were posted. I counted through the overall folks and I think only my arch rival was ahead of me. I think the other ladies ahead of me that were my age competed in the open division. We'll see. Not real important anyhow. Gonna tuck my kids into bed now. |

Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: Challenge Chat (aka Nibbs XVII) - come join us :) Hi Nibbies! Kendra - Great job with the Relay For Life today. Beth - While you didn't find your next house, it does sound like you had a productive day with the realtor. Hopefully, she's now zeroed in on what you're looking for. Jen - Sounds like a fun day! A bike ride, a party and a movie -- You've been busy! Pam - Forget the Mother's Day Coffeecake. Go for the Mother's Day Cheesecake. Congratulations on doing a great job in the race today! Sounds like you and your arch rival have a good competition going on. (Didn't you beat her last time around?) OK, I think that I've now caught up with the last page of Nibbs. Was a lot of "content" there! |

post the pic for Kendra
Hey now...I suppose I will have to go without the man card until at least after Mother's Day...which reminds me... Happy Mother's Day Nibbs!!! |

Miss Thing made me a card listing the things I have given up for her...included in the list are a good run and a bike ride. She wisely included the phone which she seems to have permanently attached to her hands and ears--usually in a 3 way conversation with friends... |

I wondered about that but my favorite LRS keeps giving me these New Balances...I'll check with him next time I buy shoes (should be in the next couple months with the mileage I'm putting on them) |
