Master 1356 | Subject: RE: Avatar Avengers carrie1 - 2008-06-04 3:31 AM I have a short swim on tap for lunch today and a 30ish minute run with my sister this evening. I didn't sleep well at all today. Work, swim, work, run, shower, bed...That's how it's going to happen today :-) I'm jealous - would love to have my sister run with me! She's only 20-25 mins away but with both of us moms of two, get togethers are challenging if not kid focussed. And I'm totally with you on the sleep task, my hubby complains I go to bed when the kids do... I do, I'm tired! |

I have been begging her to run for years now, but she's been pregnant for the past five years. She finds it tough to organize the run with the kids. I usually end up pushing one of them in the stroller and her husband is on duty 3 days a week for about a half hour. |

Master 1356 | Subject: RE: Avatar Avengers well, tonight I'm off to bike with my muddy buddy! We'll decide whose bike to use Sunday and ride a trail for a bit to see how well/poorly matched these ol'mamas are! I'm thinking to get int a run too while I'm away from the house, we'll see if I fit that in. |

Master 2005 Silverton, Oregon | Subject: RE: Avatar Avengers Hi everyone! Sorry I've been sorta MIA lately, wasn't feeling well for a few days, but I'm back. I got in a yoga session, a bike, and a swim today. Does anyone know if it's too late to change our goals? I don't want to reduce them, just change them to distance rather than time. I'm working on my speed and I realized I would be more motivated to go faster if I wasn't trying to get in a full hour etc. Great training everyone! GO AVATAR AVENGERS! |

Have you tried changing them on the spread sheet yourself? I saw your other post and the end result isn't going to change is it, just the way you measure it? I can't see that anyone would have a problem with that, surely. |

Master 1356 | Subject: RE: Avatar Avengers hey team, I need to update my numbers - I had a FUN!!! evening I met with my muddy buddy to practice mtn biking. She is a bit more timid than me but i thnk we'll do fine - I MIGHT get some trail rest waiting for her to catchup - hard to say, she's in gym shape, we'll see how it translates! But she was late/lost getting to our meeting spot so I got to run some hills. You know, I ran cross-country and highschool and I think I forgot until just right now, how much I loved the hilly courses. hills rock! snicker. OK, I did have fun working the hills tonight, we'll see how my enthusiasm continues! Tomorrow swimming - both at the pool and the cesspool. Wish me a hive-free experience - no wetsuit this time and I'll plan on changing right afterwards. |

OK, I did have fun working the hills tonight, we'll see how my enthusiasm continues! I'm with you -- I love hills! Flats are OK, but I've figured out that they're brutal on my legs. I have no idea what to expect from Muddy Buddy -- my teammate is supplying the bike, and, um, it's possible I've never actually ridden a mountain bike on a trail. Should be interesting, at least. But whatever, I'm just doing it for fun. Tonight I bought our "costumes"! Are you guys dressing up at all? I changed my challenge goals today -- I realized I'd set my bike goals way too low (forgot I'm still training for a tri next week, heh) and I decided to up the swim goal a little and throw in a run goal. Hope I don't regret it! |

My husband thinks it is the sexiest thing I've ever done. When I need some new gear, he might teasingly complain, but that is it. I just call him my sugar daddy; he laughs. I am careful, though, not to confuse 'need' with 'want'. |
