enders_shadow - 2008-06-25 1:20 PM I like the new av, by the way, Sal. I like the artsy B&W (unless that's how you really looked that day ...but I'm assuming you were actually wearing your lucky yellow jersey).

You are correct, my dear Kristen...it was yellow tri top day that day...too sunny for my black top, and couldn't find the blue top.  Funny...it seems like they only take pics of me when I'm in my yellow tri top...

I think the black & blue tops are just imaginary and that you own a drawer full of yellow ones.

::sigh::: I have to do work now.

Playing with liquid nitrogen and a mallet used to be a lot of fun. It's not as fun now.

Sounds more fun than hiding out in the computer room while 4 kids are playing hide and seek throughout my house. Everyone is leaving at 3 pm now.

Fair enough.  I'm just tired of having freezing hands.  Liquid nitrogen + metal = almost frostbitten fingers

MOrnin' Nibbs....

Lots of work today... one day I shall train again... perhaps I need to commit myself to a race to get *** in gear.

Hope everyone has a great hump day!!!! I'm getting excited for a weekend of NOTHING planned!!!!!

the only thing that's keeping me going right now is the challenge

I am thinking about signing up for a sprint at the end of July - it's the Cornhusker State Games - it's the first tri I ever participated in

it's inexpensive ($40), relatively close to home and I think I'll be home that weekend

EDIT:  Oops, I read that wrong...thought she said expensive...Dear, dear Beth...$40 does not an expensive tri make......next month's LTF tri in Minneapolis...$150...I'm registered, but didn't have to pay that...whew...

$150!!!!!!!  OMG!!!  I knew those guys were pricey, but by goly???  I hope that includes pre-race dinner, post-race lunch, REALLY NICE shirt and more....  And HOW many people are they expecting????

Yeah. I end up wearing about 3 pairs of gloves and it still gets cold through the gloves.  I think I'm going to start wearing my running gloves under my lab gloves.

Anyone know how to get cats to drink more water?  Mine are not drinking enough during the day.  I've tried putting in ice cubes and that doesn't really interest them enough to drink more anymore.  Not sure what else to try.

me too!  It seems like it's been forever, I know it hasn't but it seems like it

technically the house has only been listed for a little under 2 weeks, we had the open houses before we put it in MLS - hope that wasn't a mistake

Prolly not a mistake - I know we always gauged the "staleness" of the house based on the MLS date...

Mine is diabetic so drinking is never a problem. He downs two bowls of water a day. Have you tried putting bowls down in different places? My cat loves to drink out of a small dish in our bathroom. He prefers that dish to his regular bowl next to his food. I would just put several different shaped bowls in various locations. Maybe their curiosity about the bowls will get them drinking more.
