Can everyone please check the spreadsheet and make sure their times/distances look good. JungleJenn is done with her rides, everyone else is 70ish percent or higher so we are real close. Final day is THIS SUNDAY! RIDE, RIDE, RIDE! |

Member 25 Buffalo, NY | Subject: RE: Saunier Duval Team Thread Did a stage last night, nice ride with my family for 30 minutes. Had the itch and got out this morning for a 1:07. Closing in on the goal. Need to get another one in before Friday as I will be gone to West Virginia - white water rafting, but I am planning on at least one mountain bike stage there.
Go Team ! |

Master 1841 Sendai, Japan | Subject: RE: Saunier Duval Team Thread I got through stage 11 this morning. I am trying to take it easy and hoping that will keep the knees quiet.
"btw what are you doing in Japan, I had been meaning to ask but kept forgetting." -- work (cellular telecoms related) brought me here 19 years ago and I've spent most of the time since then working/living here in Japan (except for one year back in Chicago and 1.5 years in the UK). I'm now semi-retired and trying to whip my body back into shape. It is not as cooperative as I would like it to be. |

Ok everyone, home stretch, remember a ride can be as short as 15 minutes so if you are short on stages just do a couple 15 minute rides on the trainer to finish it off. |

Great job everyone, I am off today to a family reunion and Tri, can you PLEASE, PLEASE re-check the spreadsheet, it looks like they are a bit off, I think cat came back in and edited my formulas which might have erased some stages. Keep it up and lets get 100% |

Expert 935 South eastern Ohio | Subject: RE: Saunier Duval Team Thread Good morning Team, I have re-checked my numbers for the challenge but I am not sure that I have the idea on how to put them in the spredsheet. Do the indv. weeks nubers need to be in the columns or to I add wk 1+2 together? Here are my numbers so far: WK #1: 9 Stages for 921 minutes/15.35 hrs. WK#2: 5 stages for 736 minutes/12.266 hrs. WK#3: 3 stages for 170 minutes/2.83 hrs. Total: 17 Stages, 1,827 minutes/30.45 hrs I'll get a couple rides in later today, one commute to the gym and one trainer ride and I'll be riding both days this weekend so I'll get it all done. Thanks guys and keep up the great work. Chris Edited by chrisrunzs26 2008-07-25 8:17 AM |

Master 1397 Granvile, Ohio | Subject: RE: Saunier Duval Team Thread I've got mine updated, 11 stages & 244.5 miles, but I put it all in week 1. Let me know if you need some help going through logs. It's a little confusing this month since we started late in the month and are finishing early. |

Regular 87 | Subject: RE: Saunier Duval Team Thread dalessit - 2008-07-22 5:11 AM faeron - 2008-07-22 3:41 AM man I'm gone for a week and all sorts of crazy things happen, bummer about the EPO, but hey, at least we still make a good team . I got in a couple rides in Hawaii, stage 5 for 35 minutes and stage 6 for 85. If the jet lag doesn't kill me I'll be at the gym tomorrow morning. Yeah rough week for the TdF team SD but good week for the BT team SD! Did you get to ride down a volcano? Sadly, I didn't get to ride down a volcano, although I did think about it, but I did ride around Hawaii Kai kind of around a volcano I think , I was kind of limited to the area I was staying in. I got two more stages in this week, one Tuesday for 45 minutes, one today for 40 minutes and I'm planning on a long ride tomorrow for my last stage. Can't wait to see how everyone does in their races this weekend! that's definitely a way to finish the challenge with a bang. |

Master 1841 Sendai, Japan | Subject: RE: Saunier Duval Team Thread Hi everyone. I have updated the spreadsheet to align actual rides with weeks 1, 2 and 3. I also modified it to be consistent with the other teams, i.e., weeks 2 and 3 show cumulative number of rides and cumulative time or distance. Finally, I added two columns at the end to show how many rides and how much time/distance you have remaining. We're very close. A couple key points to remember (quoted from the original challenge announcement): - The winning team will be determined by the overall % of goal amount of stages and % of distance/time achieved by the team. (each goal counts for 50% of your overall goal achieved). Max goal possible is 100%.
- Individuals who achieve more than their committed stages/distance will not have these additional rides counted towards their team total but please add them to the reporting so we can acknowledge your hard work! - You can ride more than once on one day if you wish to.. just make sure that they are logged as separate rides in your log. - Stages must be logged in the riders BT logs for verification |

Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: Saunier Duval Team Thread The TdF Challenge will be over soon. So how are you going to stay motivated NEXT month? Interested in another challenge? There is a "Casual Challenge" planned for August. You can set goals for RUNNING and/or SWIMMING and/or BIKING and/or OTHER (strength, yoga, etc) and/or WEIGHT LOSS. (You may sign up for ANY or ALL of these goals.) There will be no teams (unless we get a lot of people signing up, then I'll split the group). It's just a friendly challenge to help people achieve their workout and weightloss goals. Champion 9060 Charlottesville, Virginia | Subject: RE: Saunier Duval Team Thread Just got back from my Tri, thanks alot for updating the spreadsheet. LoL, I think I finished 2nd in my AG, I feel so bad I didn't stay around for awards, my wife and I had to get back to the family reunion and neither of us has ever placed before so we didn't think that we had this time either. Will put up my official race report when I get the results, I have no idea what my swim time was so can't finish it up until I get that in. It has been alot of fun doing this challenge with you guys this month. I look forward to doing another one soon!

Expert 935 South eastern Ohio | Subject: RE: Saunier Duval Team Thread Well done team!!! I have gotten to Paris and still have all my skin intact. Well except my elbow and the remains of a big bruise on my hip. Did enjoy all the time in the saddle this past 3 weeks. You all have been truly inspiring, I know I say that alot but I really mean it. Thanks. So my stats: 21 Stages 2072 minutes //34.53 hrs and 558.24 miles. I believe that is the most I have ridden in 3 weeks, ever. Had some major rides including my longest at 75 miles of hills and rollers. Found a new training partner and friend in Jungle Jenn and a truly great friend that is always positive and does not even know how wonderful she is....that would be you Tnick. Everyone else that I don't know that well have been just great and have made me feel like a real team mate. Thanks Team Saunier Duval!!!! Chris....feeling emotional today |
