Haha. Drinking alone is bad.

Hence the reason there are bars.  There's always someone in a bar, unless it's closed.

Actually, I think drinking alone in a bar is worse. At least if you're drinking at home, no one can be witness to your shame.

And it solves the whole driving home thing.

and/or walk of shame.

True on both counts. I'll admit to having a nice cold beer while I'm chillin' home by myself.

I know "man card" at risk, but I'll fix a 44 oz tumbler with a whisky sour and work on that for like an hour.....  It's like 8-10 shots...... yummy....

If I drink it's almost always at home. Alone. After the kids go to bed. I can't stand bars.

It's probably not a good habit but there it is.

    I guess it's a matter of goals.

I don't go to a bar to get drunk.  I don't go for entertainment.  I usually go because I don't want to cook, it's easier to get a seat, and probably cheaper than a normal restaurant.  I go because I'm tired of being at home.  Now, being married, I seldom go alone.  But I used to do it before then.  When I would, I went to places where I knew the staff.  So I did have someone I knew, I just wasn't drinking with them.

Bars are terrible places to meet people, anyway.

Aight peeps.  Gots a question for the TAN fam.

Forgive me for bringing somfin into nuffin but didn't want to do it in the CoJ madness.  TAN madness is good enough.

Ever get the feeling you don't get it.  I don't mean the inside jokes of others at parties and all.  I mean, you ever have those days, or weeks, where you think you are doing quite well, you think you know where you are headed, you think you know what you are doing and that you are doing it quite well.  And then, something happens, probably not major, maybe not even an event, but someone says something fairly innocuous, that makes you think that you are still some niaive little kid that doesn't know squat and are kidding yourself with the thoughts you were having?

Be careful, my neighbor got thrown in the slammer for that.  Seriously.  And she was six blocks (at max) from her house.  That's what happens when you live in a small orderly town.

Okay kids I'm outta here.  Please, behave yourselves.

I keep hearing ads on the radio for HD Radio that are done in the style and suggestions of 1950's sex ed tapes. They're pretty dang funny.
