I updated the spreadsheet for myself....I'm ahead on all except for swimming but during Mardi Gras break I plan on swimming 2x a day and this week swimming 4x so I'm not so worried...

Question: If I say do more than my required running, will it help someone who doesn't get all of theres and visa-versa

Answer:  I haven't seen a challenge in a long time where you could help cover for a team mate..

Nice job everyone!  We're in first place!

I wish I could log the 7 or 8 hours I was in the ER today with my kids.  I took my 5 yr old in first cause he's been sooper sick for almost a week and no sooner did I get home and get him settled, my 4 yr old comes up to me crying saying his ear hurts.    Federal holiday so our ped office is closed.   So, from 7:30 this am until 2:00 this afternoon I was sitting with sick kiddos.  Poor guys.  Hopefully they will start to feel better soon.

Sooo, I am not sure I'll make my swim tonight.   I did pick up my new bike today though!!!!!  So, be on the look out for lots of drainer miles from me!

Good job everyone on the training.   Looks like most of us are at or above 50% for the month so on target to meet our goals.

Wieczynski...be sure and update the spreadsheet with your totals.

I don't like off days.  I feel like I'm slacking off.  Frown

I'm sticking to the plan.  I'm even looking forward to being in the pool at 5:45 am.  Clearly training is warping my brain.

15 mile am bike, 6 mile noon run, 15 mile pm bike.  looking in good shape for the months goals.

And more importantly, I will have more run, bike and swim miles than last year in February 8).

I had a 2.7 mile fun run today.  I ran the fastest I have ever run.  I averaged 8:54ish.  I am pretty excited about that, especially being sick.  I finally caved and went to the doctor today.  I'm glad I did.  I guess my lungs are all sorts of nasty.    They got me on prednisone and a new inhaler along with some cough stuff and decongestant stuff.  I hope it kicks in before Sunday's big race!  If not, it will be a long day but I'm still running it!

Ya I have had junk in my lungs for 1 month now.  Love this time of year.  Anyway 15 miles biked, 10 miles run for me today, long workout day tomorrow with a 15 mile bike, 5 mile run 3000 yard swim planned (260 mile drive).  Numbers looking good for the month still.  This may well be my first 500 mile bike month ever 8).
