They are right next to the Milanos in my store. But they are huge and so soft and YUMMY.. Needless to say the weekend we traveled the bag didn't stand a chance. I recommend the chocolate chunk.
Edited to add - Like Phil would say "Toppage" funny you should mention, i almost bought THOSE SAME EXACT COOKIES yesturday....my hands were on them, but then i thought i cant even keep a 9x13 pan of brownies in my house for longer than a day and half, that tiny bag of expensive cookies wouldnt stand a snowsballs chance in this house ie wouldnt last more than hour.... i need a secret hiding place. my mother always had a secret hiding place for her favorite food stuff that she didnt want us kids to eat. i need one. Glad you figured out what I said - not sure how tired I was last night to write "Dee from you found" that was to say Dee Have you found.. Edited by dimplespoo 2009-03-20 4:02 PM |

Yes I am trying to be the good patient. I hate to say it but I got quite the lecture on going in earlier today from the doctor. He wasn't impressed I waited 3 weeks even if it was on and off. Oh well - I will try to learn one of these days. Happy Friday Phil - have a great weekend. |

Another lovely day down here in the deep south. I am off for a short (taper) run and then I am off for my new bike fitting!! Somehow I missed the call from my LBS yesterday afternoon? I was kind of hoping my bike would come on Monday, now I might have the temptation to use my new bike for the race tomorrow. OMG, I am not sure what to do! Well first I will go do the fitting, and see how that goes, obviously I will be doing a (short) ride later today and I guess I'll see then. If I am not 100% comfortable I will stay with my old buddy for sure. I'll check back later! I don't think you should use the new bike tomorrow. You won't have enough time to be used to it after a fitting today. It's tough, but stick with the old one for this race and use the new one for the next race. That's what I was thinking initially but then it all changed today at the LBS; since I needed new pedals and hence new cleats, and since I only have one pair of shoes right now... I sort of don't have a choice; I have to use my new bike. However, the fit feels good, it may take some time to get used to the new saddle; still haven't decided if I will go back to my old one since it was a bit uncomfortable. The new Speedplay peddles are GREAT. I love 'em. May have to drop the seat hight by a cm, but since the bike part of the race is only is only 18mi I am pretty sure I can deal with it. Overall I felt pretty comfortable on the bike, maybe some tweaking here or there, but for now it's good. I may hate myself tomorrow but life's to short to worry the small crap. We'll see what happens later when I start getting into the longer distances... life IS too short to worry about the small crap, indeed. HAPPY RACING TOMORROW! |

Not racing but my sister, BIL, and niece (4yo) and nephew (7yo) are coming to visit for next week on Saturday. I get next week off work. Yeah.. Oh and I get to visit the doctor tomorrow. Apparently the off and on ear pain I have had for 3 months (comes and goes) is deciding to stay this time. Stacie Ooooo, not good. Get that looked at. Perhaps from swimming? I wish - but I don't know how to swim. I can't remember the last time I was in a pool trying. I thought most of the symptoms was like swimmers ear just from shower in the morning and then showering at night after workouts. But this time it is staying so we will see how it goes tomorrow at the fun fun doctor. Blah.
stacie. feel better soon. i hope the doctor figures out whats up so you can get rid of that darn ear ache. i woke up last night w one (went away thankfully) but they hurt like you know what.
Ear Infection. 1500 mg a day of oral antibiotics and a antibiotic ear drop every 3 hours for 10 days. Fun fun. oh dear. quite the protocol drops every three hours for ten days, YIKERS. but im thinking that will definately knock it out, that and the antibiotic. goodness me. be a good patient, follow doctors orders. |

Oh, yeah - don't forget TOPpage! wanna fill me in on what im doing wrong? Well, first of all -- notice Phil's post count: 14431 (and climbing higher every minute). Do you realllllllly think that all 14431 posts were MEANINGFUL and SIGNIFICANT???? So, how exactly did Phil achieve this HIGH POST COUNT??? Well, it was by mastering the fine art of POST PADDING! That's right -- there are actually some people on BT who write meaningless posts, thereby inflating their post count. Do you believe the nerve of these people? Edited by D001 2009-03-20 9:16 PM |
