Master 1790 | Subject: RE: The Power Rangers Sorry I've been a little MIA peeps -- got so much going on! BT is blocked at work until March Madness is over. *groan* Soon ... oh please let it be soon ... Anyhoooooy, I'm an Athena working to get into Olympic shape. I've lost 85 pounds and I want to build a really nice bike base since I'm still dealing with plantar fasciitis/Achilles problems that limit my running. I work in communications, and I live in the eastern U.S. I'm going through a fun divorce from a controlling, sometimes scary situation, so I'm a little incognito at the moment. I will add my new teamies to my log so you can all view it. Oh, and my goal is going to be 12 times on the bike. This is a semi-challenging goal for me because I don't like to ride by myself, so gotta push myself to get out there. |

Extreme Veteran 3177 | Subject: RE: The Power Rangers Today I should be getting in a long run (70ish minutes) going to try and hit either the Cedar River trail or Seward park - two local favorites. Should be beautiful out today (probably the only nice Sunday for April but that is ok, get out side and enjoy it while I can! |

Royal(PITA) 14270 West Chester, Ohio | Subject: RE: The Power Rangers I had a great ride today. Need to change my goal into hours from sessions...may wind up increasing it too but I don't want to think too big because I don't know how my body will respond to the full international race distances in a couple weeks. |

Extreme Veteran 3177 | Subject: RE: The Power Rangers Well I never got my bike ride in this weekend but that is ok I think. Spent the morning doing fun yard work, raking, mowing, weeding, spreading bark, and just generall being busy. Went for my run around 3:20 this afternoon, Great day outside for april in Seattle. A good run too though I think I may have pushed it to much. My limiter right now is definately my muscles. My cardio feels like it could go on and on...but my legs get Lead-like. Oh well that is why we train I guess! |

One thing I've always found to be my saving grace is my training during those stressful times in life. Gotta little run in today. But the bike is the one I'm tied to for this competition...more to come later this week. |

Extreme Veteran 3177 | Subject: RE: The Power Rangers Today is a scheduled day off and my wife is out of town on a camping trip w/ our dog so I am alone at home for the next few days with the cat. I think I will try and get in a good stretching/Yoga/Core workout tonight just because I feel like my body needs it. Yesterdays run felt great but definately a little sore today. |

I created a team table for us--I checked all the links and they work. If it doesn't work to copy it from here to your log, try copying it directly from my log to yours. |

Master 2055 Santa Clarita | Subject: RE: The Power Rangers I volunteered at a 5k on saturday , help with set up and tear down and working the finish chute , It was interesting to see the runners come in . It was not a big turnout so many who finished later placed in their age group . Our lovely RD finished third . Yanti , that must have been fun to watch all the athletes . If i was ever doing HIM distance i would picked that race. And sweet team avatar our Blue Power Ranger is packing the heat .
Watch out underacheiving dogs , superninjamagging turtles , ambigious men duos , puffpuffs league and all others !!! |

Extreme Veteran 3177 | Subject: RE: The Power Rangers Great Bike commute ride in this morning though for some reason really made my butt hurt. I think I was sitting wrong and had my bag on my back adjusted wrong for weight distribution. Anyways...after the commute ride home tonight I hope to go for my 40 ish minute run around the neighbor hood and then no run tomorrow but hit the pool. Also trying to get this Friday off which could be really nice. |

I like it . That would make it a cool brick workout , While riding through a downhill or easy section Try standing off the saddle for 30 secs 2 -3 times on your ride just to give yer tush a rest . I am going try riding to work saturday . |

I am going try riding to work saturday . I stand occasionaly, (never downhill as I get going to fast to want to raise my Center of Gravity) but am trying to sit more and just cadence pedal up hills etc. I think it might also be a problem with my bike shorts not fitting just right so the pad slips around. The shorts are old and I probably need new ones. Gotta get in that saddle time so my butt can take longer rides you know BTW bike commuting is THE BEST for me at least. |

I will see if I can figure out how to get the team table into my log area when I get home tonight, work computer says no! Personally I enjoy posting what I have planned for the day. Even if no one else cares the fact that I wrote it down somewhere public helps to keep myself more accountable for completing it. Oh and I just bouth a 2 piece Louise Garneau Tri suit, a new Giro helmet, some Poly Jammers and a new set of Nike Goggles. Nothing top of the line or Fancy but I am excited and I am spending just under $150 for all of it including shipping (free from Trisports! woot, though I do have to pay from Swimoutlet but that is ok, it isnt much.) Yay Spandex! |

I'll post the code (in the next post). Depending upon your settings, sometimes it's easier to copy and paste the code than the table image.... You're cheering Spandex? Hm. I think anyone who cheers Spandex should post a photo of themselves wearing it! (Yes, I do tend to be a troublemaker. And your point....?) |
