aspeelma - 2009-10-27 11:14 AM I'm a little concerned that we haven't heard from Stacie yet today. She didn't mention anywhere that she wouldn't be around did she?

I'm only a stones throw from the turnpike, I can be in Pittsburgh in just over 3 hours. Maybe I should make sure everything is ok.

It is quite strange that she is not in yet for sure!

awww.

and concerned too.

you .

i'm listening in to the tri bike vs road bike conversation VERY intently.

for me, i do a lot of other riding other than tris, so the road bike w the aerobars added on makes the most sense for the kind of riding i do.....for now.

and since im not considering a FULL IM, i doubt that a tri bike will ever become 'necessary' i think i can get away w a 1/2 IM on my road bike w aerobars, at least i think so.

but if im ever in the market for a 2nd bike, a tri bike it will be.

theres other stuff im jonesin on right now, that's more 'important'.

as for rest days, most times they are the get all the stuff i didnt have time do during the week of training days for me, so that usually means a day full of activity just not the tri-variety.

i dont sweat it.

I HATE when that happens, which unfortunately is quite often thanks to me being a size 13. And while we're on shoe rants, why is it that they have to stop with the half-sizes at 13? Just because some of us have ogre-feet shouldn't mean we can't get that perfect half-size fit. Grr...
