I like them! The ones I have are fairly intense...I have 23.0 Time Savers and 20.0 The Sprinting Machine...so I have to add in some trainer sessions that are less intense on my own--I watch Scrubs...Its my current fav...I'm finishing season 2...haha


I catch up back-episodes of The Office...

ok team had a crazy morning already! The kids were not happy to have the early wake up either! But dinner is in the slowcooker(beef roast with dijon mustard and rosemary) potatoes and carrots are cut, seasoned and ready to be cooked later, kids are all at school, my bag is packed for work.....will be there all day I am thinking, I teach 2 sport classes, 3 water classes and vive, but I need to practice vive more as this is a new release and I still don't know the whole thing! Hope everyone has a great day...oh and I will get my swim in I promise!!

Good morning winning windchill warriors.  We have a snow day today.  It's been snowing for about 24 hours and we have about 1/2 inch on the ground...all schools are closed.  (crazy , huh?!?!)  Arkansans don't do well in snow and ice.  Buy, YaY, I love snow days!!!  The kiddo and I have been watching cartoons all morning

First time in 3 weeks for me...  Was wonderful to not set an alarm...  Sure would love another 3 weeks, but I owe I owe so off to work I go...


It wasn't hard waking up to the 5:30am alarm...the tough part was mentally preparing to step out into the cold garage and get the car started...

Today will be the warmest day of the week (8F/-13C)...a high of -1F (-18C) on Thursday with a low of -13F (-25C)...Cry

5 mile run today...planning on an early morning swim tomorrow...

Goals for January: 8 swim sessions, 8 bike sessions, 12 run sessions, lose 4 pounds

Here's my training plan for this week:

Monday: Pilates (45 min.) and run drills (40 min)
Tuesday: Swim 1700 yds. or spin class in a.m.
Wednesday: In the morning, run 30 min. then swim 2200 yds.
Thursday: Run 1 hr. with training buddy, then core/strength in p.m.
Friday: Swim 1700 yds. a.m. and 55 min. trainer time p.m.
Saturday: "Trainer Bricks" with tri team at track (should count as bike and swim!)
Sunday: Bike at least 50 min.

My nutter trainer session yesterday along with my lack of sleep last night has left me slightly sorer/more tired than expected...I'm just gonna do my swim practice tonight...I think I'll move that run to tomorrow. I should take a bit of recovery off of intensity for today!

I got my first 2 weeks of January schedule from my coach and upped my run goal for the month.
15 Runs/10 Bikes/8 Crossfit/10 Pilates
I did a run and a Pilates class today.

I made it to strength training and swimming tonight. It's all in my BT log (about to be on the goals sheet). I haven't put in my goals yet - commitophobe?  LOL   Kidding. Going to do that now.

I also confided in my coach that I'm doing a half ironman and require distance training with the distance guys...so now I get to train with the distance guys...I haven't decided yet if that was a bad decision or not...haha...I guess I will figure that out next week when we start pulling out 5km workouts of 30x100 free @ 130...death...

Swam for the first time since Sept. 30th for me! Didn't realize it has been that long, guess that is what happens when you don't put it as a goal in the challenge thread!

Great job on the swim.  It's hard to get motivated to get into a pool when it's so stinkin' cold out!

I, on the other hand, took a slacker day to go with the dusting of snow that shut down the school system yesterday.

We have a whole inch of snow forecast for Thursday...what oh what are we ever going to do!  The whole city will shut down because of it.

Ooooo!  I'm jealous!  I'd love to have burning eyes if it meant I could listen to some tunes while swimming!

Congrats on finding the pool!   I would love to put swimming in as a goal during a challenge.  I can't until I get the childcare thing figured out during lap swimming hours.  I have my own, personal goal for swimming though!

I got a nice little treadmill run today.  I was going to push my baby in the running stroller but it looked like it was going to rain.  It never did.  The weather is so weird for this time of year here.  It is 63 degrees!  It barely reaches that temp during the summer here!
