disturbed275 - 2010-10-02 11:40 AM Well I didn't puke but I sure felt like I was going to.  I haven't run that hard in months

It was a small field so ended up 3rd overall and actually set a PR.

Time for football and more beer.  Hope everyone has a good Saturday!

Good job on the hardware. It also proves your theory about drinking and running.

Hi Ghoulies!

I got a run and some yoga in. I need to go try a few push ups here soon. Later this afternoon I'm taking my pups to an indoor swimming pool for dogs. I know my lab will love it, I'm wondering what my dane pup is going to think.

Have a great day everyone!

I sent Katie an email to see how she's doing. I hope she pops back into the village. I wonder what Jules is up to these days, too.

Whoo hoo!  Finished the Great Columbia Crossing 10k!!!!  Had SO MUCH FUN!!  The mass start of 3000 people was slow.  I should have been closer to the front, but it was okay.  My avg pace was way better than I expected.  I beat my estimated time by 5 minutes.  Didn't know I could sustain that jogging pace for the whole 10k!  yahoo!

i did a little race report if you want to check it out!  I just had a blast!

deehtz - 2010-10-01 10:56 AM I need a new swimsuit.  I have been looking on swimoutlet.com   I just hate having to try and figure out the size and fit online.  But there is nothing in town.

Dee, try Splish.com. I happen to like this particular suit.

Yeah, it was my first half-marathon (w/o swimming 1.2 miles and biking 56 beforehand).  I probably could have pushed harder for the first six miles but I stuck with my plan and resisted the "urge to surge".  It sure was fun just passing people for the last hour as I continued to increase my pace.
