QueenZipp - 2010-12-02 5:58 PM I can do hard bike training as long as it's on a different day from running .....AND.....I CAN SIGN UP FOR MY FAVORITE 10K RACE this spring!!!!

Sounds like you've had an exciting day. Congrats on all the good news.

Wish I had some good news. I'm still sitting here at work trying to get my project done so I can go out of town for the weekend. Well, I guess that's good news. If I get my project done, my wife and I will be heading out of town for the weekend. If I don't get it done I will be in biiiiiiiggg trouble. I don't want to tell my wife I can't go because I didn't get my work done. I better get back to work.

I am officially signed up with a personal trainer.....he's new and doesn't have a big client base.  I like the other ones more cause they have experience....but he's going to research the gastrocs tear so he can work within my limits but still stretch me some.  That makes it worthwhile.

Goals for December.....keep on swimming 3x/week

Bike.....3x/week, HOPE to do a Spinerval this weekend to see if I can start Jorge's plan next week

Run.....as much as I am allowed, 3 miles nonstop is the goal.

Training with Rasul (the trainer) 2x/week

So, today is a scheduled day off...  but I'm feeling frustrated that my weight is not dropping.  So I brought my sneakers and running stuff to work with me.  Now I'm torn between letting my legs rest so I can get a GOOD run in tomorrow and doing a short workout so I can work on some of these layers of fat.

Maybe a walk or just a short jog?

Nice brisk walk longer is better than a short jog.

Went out to celebrate the end of the semester last night.  I am exhausted today!!  Supposed to go look at Christmas trees with my roommates after work and I'm thinking about getting a short run in but a nap may get first priority.

My calfs are so tight! Contemplating if a run would just make it worse or if I should go.

Stretch it out! Do a little warm up, stretch them out, and see how you feel. Calves are easy to tame.

Yanti, I NEVER thought I would be so happy about such a little run.  It's totally insane.

Celebrate the little victories we have in training.  They really aren't that little.

I scored a Kirt Kinetic fluid trainer today for a SWEET deal!

Performance had a promotion for 3 canned goods donation you could get 10% off the price.  Had a coupon in my purse left from grocery shopping so I bought 4 cans of soup and got $30 off the price.....then they didn't have any unopened kinetic trainers in the back so she sold me the floor model and gave me another discount.

Instead of paying $330 for the trainer I paid about $250.  What a deal!!!
