YES! The first real book I ever read was The Dark tower: The Gun slinger. I never read the other 2 books though, I should go read them. The others were good too. I only have the vaguest memory of them, but I remember that I liked them. I've read all 7 and have them on my iPad; they were all pretty good. The ending makes you want to smack King but when you think about it, how else could he really have ended it?

That was one of the worst endings ever. I almost threw the book after I read it. Yeah I felt the same way at first, but really what would you have done with Roland? Also it fit the theme of the overall story if you think about the reference to The Magnificent 7 aka The 7 Samurai etc. |

I loved Pillars of the Earth .... i started World Without End and should finish it ... I think that is what I shall start reading again! I enjoyed it but I was starting to get annoyed towards the end. I have world without end but I haven't started it as I haven't been in the mood for Follet's writing of late. |
