Expert ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() blueyedbikergirl - 2012-09-27 9:57 AM That is great news. If you rob a bank, the first thing they take is your library card.... Perhaps your lawyer could find fault with the INS and have them waive the fees. tcarlson78 - 2012-09-27 8:52 AM blueyedbikergirl - 2012-09-27 9:45 AM YES. Each time I move the local library wants to see a bill from a local utility to prove your a resident. Morning TAN! I'm all kinds of sore today, but in a good way... I think? Question for anyone that might know... If I have a utility bill in my name, does that mean I can prove that I'm a resident of the city and finally get a library card? Dare I ask how your other resident issues are going? Good to know! It was a huge pain even to get the electricity bill in my name with being from a different country and all that, but it's finally done and now, a shiny new library card is next! As far as the other issues... the latest lawyer we talked to said that he doesn't see any problem at all with me being approved for getting a Green Card, and we've retained his law firm to take care of it all for us... the only problem will be coming up with the thousands of dollars to pay both the application fees as well as his lawyer fees. I'm thinking it would be bad to rob a bank and then try to submit my applications from jail...

They populate and populate and popluate....lots of piggy sex going on. There is no "closed season" on them, you don't need a hunting license to kill them, there is no limit on how many you can take. Farmers are willing to let you hunt on their land at no charge just to kill them because they're destroying everything. bradleyd3 - 2012-09-27 8:05 AM mehaner - 2012-09-27 7:34 AM The dog or the pig? Mornin' TAN. And....kind of kidding aside, I have access to land that can be used for ag. I did have thoughts of buying a pig and a cow and raising them. Then "harvest" them for the meat. I'd have burgers, steak, chops, bacon, and sausage for years. Going to seriously have to put the pen to the paper to figure out the cost effectivness of this. Big Appa - 2012-09-27 8:15 AM mehaner - 2012-09-27 5:09 AM i'm thinking of getting a pig to prepare for the upcoming bacon shortage. thoughts? Good morning TAN. If you live in Texas, you probably already have pigs. It's just a matter of harvesting. I read somewhere that just to keep the pig population in Texas from growing, you would have to kill 70% each year. Now those are some busy pigs. BACON SEASON IN TEXAS! YEE HAW! |

Nooooooo! Not my library card! Anything but that!! After working with them for the last 6 years, I'm pretty sure that lawyers really aren't big on waiving fees. |

My kitty LOVED being brushed when I had him, as does my friend's long hair kitty - I pick up the brush whenever I go over to visit and then just let it sit on the floor for a minute or two just to mess with his little kitty mind. |

Other than the endless bureaucratic run around How is life treating you? Exceptionally bored, stressed about money (or the lack thereof would be more appropriate), and apprehensive about how things are going to go despite the confidence of the lawyer that all will be fine. Also a tad worried about my mental state knowing that I won't be able to work for at least another 5-6 months. Oh well, it's not as though my mental state was all that stable to begin with. How are you??? |
