How is the goal progress going? Anyone needing a friendly kick to get moving? Things are going well for me. I'm on track for the swimming and running, but need to up the effort to make my core workouts goal. As for the wine and beer consumption, I'll attend to that goal tomorrow. One of our local eateries has $2 pints on Thursday nights...I'm in the mood for some Guinness . I think I'm pretty much on track. I'm a bit concerned about my goal of 1000 ball crunches. As it is now, I can barely get 25 done without resting (Ok, I can do 13, and then 12). At this rate, I will fall woefully short by the end of the month. I did a quick calculation, and I need to start doing 2 sets of 25 a night later this week to hit 1000. I may not be able to walk upright next week.  I will continue to bike commute as much as possible as long as the weather holds out. Running is just something I will have to suck it up and do regardless of weather. And swimming... I just need to drag myself to the pool and do it. Same with my weight workouts. But that's easier to do, since Eric and I go together 2x a week at least. I'll aim for 3x this week and next, just in case we have to miss one over T-day weekend. |
