Morning!  I got a little over 9 hours of sleep last night.  So far I feel better, but we'll see how it is in a few hours.

Morning, Nibbs!

Woke up at the crack-of-early this morning (local Cali time)...and had to wait for the fitness center to open. Hopefully I won't crash during dinner tonight...

Only if I sleep through someone else's presentation.

(The hotel is a distance from the conference site...so we're bussed around like kids. No sneaking back.)

That sounds like a yes to me.

(I have a tendency to fall asleep at some of the more boring talks in conferences.  Especially when the speakers insist on having the lights dimmed.

I need a nap. Had a dentist appointment at 9:30 so I had to get up. Didn't do my wralk, have a chiro appt. at 4. Am still in a conundrum as which route to ride on Saturday. None of these things are biggies, but during my hormonal week everything gets blown out of proportion.

Good luck staying awake during the presentations, Kristen. That will truly be a challenge.

I ran 5 miles over lunch.  I am now starving even though I"ve had a bunch of food.  I hope I'm not like this the rest of the day.

Ha!  I wish.

Working from home sounds more fun than being at work tomorrow.

Any luck on getting the ride scheduled for Saturday?

I would come join you but it is an awful long drive

If you start now, I bet you could make it here by Saturday I'm still waiting to hear from my coach. I told my riding buddy we would climb the watershed and the Saluda grade. He agreed. Then another friend of mine found a different route that leaves out the grade. I thought that sounded great. My hubby, however, thinks I should go ahead and do the grade. He thinks it will help my climbing and that I should take advantage of the fact that I have a willing riding partner. My riding buddy doesn't care. So I'm waiting for my coach's opinion on which course I should take. Yes. I am a big weenie. If she says "ride the grade" then I'll do it. If she says I don't need to, then I won't have to listen to my husband call me a wuss for the rest of the weekend for not doing it.

Thanks!  These long Wednesday runs are going to kill me by the time I do the marathon.  I can tell already.

Pam, you are the last person I would call a wuss. Ride the ride you want. (or that your coach says to.)

Ride the grade.  You can do it and you'll feel great once it's done.
