Yesterday was day 493 for me and I ran the Two Rivers marathon in Lackawaxen, Pa. I ran 26.2 miles in 3:28:49 good enough to qualify for Boston for next year. It was also good enough for 3rd in my age group and 14th overall finisher in the marathon.

Day 494, today with 6 early morning recovery miles.

Left Brain - 2013-03-28 7:32 PM #200......8 miles at an easy 9:40 pace. I sure never planned on streaking this long.....no point in stopping now.

Great Job! Over half way now, might as well go for the whole year.

Run #196. In New Orleans last week for spring break, but managed to run every day. Nice weather so it wasn't too hard.

Thanks everyone, if I did not have stomach issues during the marathon I think I would've been under 3:25 but what could've blah, blah, blah, you know.

Day 496 today, 7 miles, still feeling under the weather but feel better since I ran.

There is always the last ditch out the door at 11:30pm.  So far I've had to do that once, getting home really late after a huge dinner/lots of beer.  It wasn't pretty, but it got done, and the streak continued to this day:

#164

Longest training day of the year so far.  4 hours.  3:30 on bike followed by 4 mile run.

Day 498 with a 6.2 mile progressive run. I reached a mile stone with todays run. I went over 4000 miles ran since I started my streak. I am at 4005.3 miles since I started the streak 498 days ago. Not sure my wife has put that many miles on her car since then. Just wanted to share with my streaking brothers and sisters. The really amazing part is this 50 year old body is holding up real well.

That's a damn fine daily avg. and total.  I'm creeping up to a 6 mile per day avg.....and at 53 I also find I'm holding up well.  In fact, much better than before I ran daily.

#207.....ran for an hour and ended up at 6.7 miles,.........8:57 pace...fairly easy actually.  I ran the first mile in 9:30 so I'm pretty happy with that run.  May start to add some speed work.

#208....3 miles.  I had to have my son at swim club at 4:30 this morning....only 9 hours after the last run but figured I'd just knock it out while I was there by a track.  Now I'm done until tomorrow afternoon due to duathlon for daughter and son's track meet.......rest day?  Laughing
