We really liked the weather, and it wasn't the best weather either from what everyone said. But, we relaxed and had good time with the family that lives down there, and that was great.
I am glad you had a good vacation. Where are you looking at in terms of FL? You might want to look at around the Sarasota Bradenton area. We seriously don't know where. It will depend upon where she can go with her company. I can always find a job in manufacturing or go into wire art full time. :-) We were in the Lady Lake area, but also drove down to Clearwater Beach for a day also. Lady Lake is near The Villages, which is a really well setup area, but I am not old enough to live there. Our wants are bike trails or safe ride to work areas, so we could both ride our bikes to work. Decent farmers markets and great diversity of foods available. We have some great things near us, but neither can ride to work safely where we are and we like the Farmer's Market in Omaha, but that is an hour drive, so it really isn't what we want in the long run. We have hundreds of miles of trails within driving distance from our house, and I am the current president of our trails committee for our small town, but I will be 6' under before those trails will ever get completed in our town and around the town, let alone connecting our town with other small towns in our area. Her parents are in Florida and my mother is in Georgia, so we thought as they are getting older, we need to be closer to help as needed. We also are thinking of getting away from the lovely cold and snowy Iowa weather. |

DETAILS!!!!! :-)
I would love to make up a great story hear about how watching porn has really paid off, but it was cold icy and one missed step on an icy ramp coming out of a old school restaurant. Text this morning said: Good Morning Sexy, two broken ribs and NO phyiscal activity for 6-8 weeks. One great date! I guess he liked me? That is a good story. |

FL as far as I have seen is not super duper on bike commuting. |

FL as far as I have seen is not super duper on bike commuting. Yeah, that is a lot of the U.S., and the reason we live in a small town and people pay attention. It is getting worse with cell phones and people not paying attention. I really like the villages for trails access to anywhere, but the trails were mostly being used by golf carts. |
