Cheri,

It's cold and rainy today, but the weekend was warm and sunny.  TONS of people at the MGM pool yesterday.

Good morning TAN.

MORE sad puppy news.  Our girl looked like she was doing well post surgery then suddenly got lethargic and didn't eat Friday night.

I finally went to go check on her closely around 11pm Friday night and saw that one of her eyes turned milky white.  Almost thought to take her to the vet ER but waited to 7am to take her in (which didn't make a difference).

She got acute glaucoma that developed over the day.  Pressure in her left eye was 50 when is should be less than 20.  It was starting to stretch and tear.

ANYWAY, got glaucoma and an ulcer and she complete lost site in her eye.  We even thought we may have to get the eye surgically removed.  She has had a long week.  We got her people glaucoma medicine and it got the pressures down so she can keep her eye but needs glaucoma eye drops the rest of her life.  There is the remotest chance if the ulcer heals and the pressures go down, she could get some vision back, but not holding our breath.  It's still milky white after several days.

You are giving the dog weed??  Interesting!

I am sorry to hear about your puppy Jim.  It ust be rough on you guys, take care!

There were tears this weekend.  I she is just a critter I know, but we love her.  When talking about taking out eyes or going blind or even putting them down plus 6k worth of surgeries...  Then  we kept second guessing ourselves that we should have known.  We refinanced the house Friday night and it took about an hour and the wife was upset that if we didn't do that, we might have noticed the problem earlier.  The doctor was nice and assured us that unless we were specifically looking for it, we couldn't have know.

Dogs can't express their discomfort sometimes.  They can't just tell you our cry.  They go away and curl up in a ball and just lay their quiet.  Which could be just confused for sleep.

It is really hard not to second guess yourself and play the what if game.  Love them and care for them and do your best to make them comfortable is all we can do for them.

My last bike was an 800cc - and from what I've been told, this bike is much like the VFR, just with a little more oomph.

I wouldn't ever get the Ninja green - it's just hideous.  But... the black or white versions I could definitely see myself tearing up the roads on.  Woooo Hoooooooo!

mehaner - 2013-04-08 7:21 AM finally considering giving up the celica.  yesterday was a sad day.  looking at bmw 328i.  what does TAN drive?  (nothing larger than a sedan need apply, even 4-doors is going to be a hard sell for me...)
I'm a Nissan fan. We had a Maxima (great styling and reliability and 4 door), have an Infiniti G35X (awesome power and handling) and I have a Rogue (car based SUV). BMW is expensive feature for feature and usually highest price in its class.

but oh-so-fun to drive!

Are you going to buy new or used?

looking at certified used...new cars are a waste.

audis are pretty sexxxy.

There was the BEST series on the speed network (I think it was there).  Hour long "documentaries" of all the sport bike builders.  So they did honda, kawasaki, yamaha, ducati, agusta...  etc...   The entire history of the companies and bikes.  It was surprising how many motorcycle companies started from some guy who manufactured something completely unrelated (like airplane engines for WWII planes).

I think the MV Agusta moved way up on my faves after that series.  I will do a google search and try to find the name of the series if you want to netflix it.

If you can find it, I think it would be very cool to watch - thanks Jim!
