And, I'll note it took me a LONG time to get my legs this way.

I hadn't done much physically for years until after my daughter was born in 2002, then I started cycle commuting... in 2005, I rode 6200 miles. Last year, 4700. Not so many this year, probably going to be 2200 or so, but my run miles will be approaching 1300 even if I don't do any running after CIM.

Please. Don't. Stop.

Yea, it has to be a time when one or two beers will suit you.  It is a good one to drink when you are at a party that you don't want to or can't get hammered.

If you tried to slam as many as possible you would feel like Jabba the Hut when you got done.

It isn't a beer that you can't slam back that is for sure.  Best to open it and let it warm up a bit.  You get to taste it that way.

It is about as heavy as drinking a loaf of bread.

I'll have to try it again sometime with dinner or something.

Most of the time when I'm drinking nowadays I'm in "Drink as many as possible" mode.... and that's obviously not a good beer for that...

No need to eat anything when drinking a Guiness.  It's a meal.

To me it is a winter beer (mind you winter in the South).  The one you order when you can still sit outside at the bar wearing a jacket or sweater but don't want to be holding an ice cold beer in your hand.

For the record, we used to drink pitchers of it in college.  They were half priced.  My friend and I, in a 2.5 hr period, shared 5 pitchers of Guinness.

If you get used to it, it goes down like water.

Nah ... I just let pierce and tattoo me. I did the lettering on one of them. Trippy.

Done a lot of clinical work involving needles both with people and rabbits, though.

That's cool that you did the lettering.  I've got a couple tattoos and lots of piercings.  Don't mind needles for that, but I really hate having blood drawn or getting shots.  A little strange.

Oh please tell what WHAT and WHERE. Don't tease us like that...

I have 9 total in my ears (6 in one and 3 in the other), although some of those are closed.  Also, my belly button.  Sorry...nothing too exotic.

Tattoos are on my back and on my ankle.  Yes, the stereotypical girl places.

Its really a tragedy she lives in Sweden. I SO want to date her.

Yeah, that is too bad because I think you would have had a really good chance with her.
