So often you see the families stop talking due to laying blame on each other. I hope the young lady will find peace and new love in her life.Let me try to share a sweet vignette at the second party while "watching" the game. I hope I can describe it well. In a crowded room, on one end of the couch was the daughter, who was engaged (and found) to the young man who recently committed suicide. She was learning to knit. On the other end of the couch was her mother who was also learning to knit. In between, the mother of the young man. She was teaching the other two to knit. The trio was engrossed in what they were doing. I was rapt watching and conversing with them thinking of the layers and ties between them. Hard to describe the connections between them but it was sad and tender and nice all at once. They are all holding each other up. It is wonderful to see. If anyone would be able to move on and love again after this, it will be her. |

I could do that. That gives me today and 3 more days here, and I like the idea of having a full week off before I start my new job. I just need a little time to unwind from being here.
