Just so you guys know, I am done swimming for the month.  Dee let me lower my swimming goal to what I have done, so I'm at 100%.

I'm having problems with my eustachian tubes constantly being plugged so every time I swim I get seasick.  Treatment is going to be at least 2 weeks, so I'm out for a little while.

Dang Jen!  Hope the treatment goes well...

Heck,  Just spelling "eustachian" should give you training points.

Rest smest,  1650 yds on one wing is impressive.  If I do 1650 yds I am impressed with myself and I have to good wings.

I love it and it's still difficult and discouraging!

7 miles running/fake running done this morning! 5 miles real, 2 on the elliptical. My legs feel like someone beat the he!! out of them while I slept, but I need to keep pushing through.

Nice quote for today.  It's definitely become more enjoyable as I actually started to like it. I hated running for the first year or so.

Just be careful...no more injuries!...well at least not self-inflicted ones...

I don't have a tri until April and I'm forced to use just one arm, yet I keep swimming too. I guess it's in our DNA

It appears I took a  two day rest following the bike ride of flats...

so I hopped in the trainer this afternoon and did my core set too.  Maybe I'll run this evening too and swim tomorrow morning.

After my meeting running to 11:15 pm last night, I'm surprised I'm functional at all today.

Great job everyone!  I've been slacking on the post-padding and cycling.  I need to do much more of both before the end of the month.

I've decided there is a good reason to join a 'health club' - my evening glass (or 2) or wine (or beer or G&T) will not interfere with my training since I won;t need to do a post-dinner run or a early morning swim...

Hi Fellow Post Padders.

I haven't been here in about 2 weeks.  I was on vacation August 31st until September 7th without computer access.  But then the day after I got home I got a very sore throat that developed into a very bad cold and cough that finally broke yesterday.  Unfortunately, I missed two days of work last week and I was so behind I had to work 13 1/2 hours yesterday and a couple extra hours today just to get caught up.  I have a commitment tomorrow night but then I'm planning to get back to the gym Thursday and start working on my goals for the month.  I'm signed up for a sprint triathlon October 19th so I really need to get working.

Sorry I dropped out of sight for a while.
