We had another Thanksgiving day dinner last night... turkey, mac & cheese with pancetta, broccoli covered with cheese and almond slivers, stuffing, cornbread made from scratch, sweet potatoes with a pecan and brown sugar crust, apple pie, apple cobbler, and home made apple brandy-wine! OH EM GEE it was the most nommalicious dinner EVER! I now need to work out like a fiend so that I can fit into my pants again. You had me at mac and cheese. Easily my favourite meal EVER. I had to stop myself from taking up a defensive position in front of the mac & cheese dish, so I made do with having a third helping when people weren't looking. If only I could have taken the rest of it home with me without anyone noticing that I was stealing it... I think that is going on my list of winter staples for this year. Gotta see if I can find my mom's recipe... It was truly ah-may-zing. I can probably get the recipe for this version too if you want? There's no way I could make it a winter staple, I definitely wouldn't fit into my pants if I did! But I'd be blissfully happy on mac & cheese which has got to count for something... What part of no pants are you not understanding? |

Hey dude, how's it going? How were your holidays? Hey Pete, Things are moving along and Thanksgiving was good. Too much food though. I had the best coversation with my kids about Canadians and Thanksgiving. They could not understand why you don't celebrate Thanksgiving. It was too funny to try and explain it to a 6 and 9 year old. After that we went and cut down two Christmas Tree's at a farm about 2 hours from my house. WE looked like the Griswolds on the way back with the stationwagon and all. |

Or I'll just pass out in your tangerines for a moment. Thanks. I say we just go around nekkid and then we don't have to worry at all about pants. Snuggle into the tangerines as much as you want darlin. |

Yanti's Winter Training Plan for Monica - eat mac and cheese - walk to store to buy new pants - eat mac and cheese - if anyone opens a mouth to protest, pop some mac and cheese in it, he'll forget all about it - be blissfully happy |

Canadians game that we were watching. Then the conversation turned to why the announcers were speaking french if people from Canada speak english. The broadcast was in english but they could hear the announcer at the Bell Centre. Really struggled with this one and left it at; jsut because now watch the game. |

"Just because." That's pretty much the best reason you can give without going into a whole diatribe regarding history and politics, anyways. That OT goal, btw, was complete BS. I will just say that right now. I can be very objective, even when it comes to the Habs, but that should have been whistled dead. |
