i did, but he was the 2nd terrible boss in a row there, and this guy isn't shaping up to be worth much.  as evidenced by my spending far too much time BTing.

As it is nothing I ever do is right,  I never do the stuff I am supposed to do (I am supposed to divine exactly what this is and when I guess wrong then...) and I have lost track of how many times she has jumped on me and put me down in front of a lab full of people.

that's really horrible.  i'm just bored and don't feel like putting up with it.  why do you stay?

OK...  Pet Peeve.

Wife gets up at 6:30 or so and just starts making a racket to pack up for Cali...  That bugs me first of all, becuase I tip toe around when she is sleeping and try to be QUIET and not disturb her.  Not the same rule book I guess.

So then I get up, without a complaint, and go rest on the couch to get my last 30-45 min of sleep.  So she basically follows me down and starts banging microwave doors and dishes.  So I get up again, and go back upstairs with a sigh.

5 minutes later, she comes back upstairs and starts the racket all over again.  I'm SO mad at this point, but it's also time to get up, so I just proceed with my day.

Maybe I'm just cranky in the mornings, but anyone who just goes around making a lot of racket while someone is sleeping just pizzes me off.  I have neighbors that start yelling at their dog at 6am and I almost shout out the window to shut the ef up.

What I do is rather specialized and there are not that many people who do it.  What that means is there are always jobs but I have to go where the jobs are.  My husband will not move again and he now has a job that makes moving for just me less economically feasible.  It is almost impossible to find a job in my field elsewhere in the city so I either stay here or I am unemployed.

What happens if your boss just, uh, accidentally dies?

I saw Contagion last night.  OK I guess.  I thought the big list of stars might help.  Nope.  Sort of slow and boring.  BUT, the whole concept is kind of scary.

Ya that is what I was saying, slow but it was interesting. The whole time when they were showing what people touched I was getting creeped out.
