Melon Presser 52116 | Subject: RE: Ghoulies October: Team BT pdbman - 2010-10-12 12:17 AM Lots of distractions today. I'm thinking maybe I should have worked from home. We have a guy visiting from Arizona. He's a nice guy and all but he loves to talk. He's more of a distraction from work than BT is. I don't think I've had 10 minutes peace in the last 90 minutes. Is he a really young guy? I have a way of shutting men up. Want some help? |

Ha, sounding too much like WORK now!!)QueenZipp - 2010-10-11 12:03 PM Asking for a ruling from Ghoulies on this one.....there will be some sort of strengthening on my own tomorrow and another sort of strengthening in PT tomorrow when he allows me to play with toys.....a whole lot of hours between these....,I'm thinknig 2 separate sessions but will ask what you think for fairness.... Of course - just like my commuting when I do sessions. You are good Judi - you know that Ghoulies haven't approved my core training switch yet, hopefully I'm not the weakest link when it comes down to close percentages. Bill, can you speak on behalf of the Ghoulies or consult them on the result of my requested modification? This does sound like work Judi... |

I saw the Schimano rear derailleur but nothing on the other components.Opinions on this bike please I have no idea, I don't know the first thing about bikes. Let me see if I can find another link with more info. Overall reviews on the bike weren't all that great. A bike needs to be able to take a LOT of riding and not be a demanding piece of equipment other than routine maintenance and cleaning. Much like a car. Here's the thing--in the $350 range, that's about the best it gets. It's not bad, for that. The other thing is I have a feeling it's not going to get ridden like YOU ride your bikes (do any bikes?) HOWEVER ... if you anticipate falling in love with triathlon, or riding more than say a few hours a week, you are probably better off saving your ducats for a better bike. What are you riding now? A rusty 7 year old mountain bike... That's fresh out of the box compared to mine. My mtn bike is about 15 yrs old. I'm glad I splurged on it then or there is no way it would have lasted this long if I had bought a cheap one, which means I wouldn't be doing any tri's. Are you still using a mtn bike? How long have you been tri'ing with it for? This was to be my first year triing, but it hasn't gone well. I got sick, had family things come up, or had to go out of town every time I put a tri on my calendar. My big running race went well, but no tri's. I'm looking for my first tri in April and am determined to see it through this time. Good luck in April! Good that your running race went well, it's better than no race. |

He's chatting with another guy at the memoent so I have a little bit of a break. |

In the end I know I have challenged myself and 99.9% of others have as well. For the .01% I cannot do anything about them and will not lose any sleep over them as well! I will prove to BT in the coming months that I am part of the 99.9%. |

Elite 3460 Slackerville, USA | Subject: RE: Ghoulies October: Team BT I don't know. First of all, I want to say that I don't want to offend anyone but I have to ask. Maybe its just me but I can't imagine any food being better than sex. And my wife is a WONDERFUL cook and I love food. I've had multiple cakes, desserts, etc called "Better than sex" but I just don't see it. I just can't imagine any cake or anything being better than sex. I've always thought "Well if this is better than sex, then you must not have a very good love life." Maybe its the partner. I don't know. Are people being serious when they say something is better than sex? |

Elite 3460 Slackerville, USA | Subject: RE: Ghoulies October: Team BT Yanti, your row of yellow stars aren't just yellow any more. It's been corrupted by a green star. Personally I think it would look cool if you had four yellow, four purple, and four green but that's just not possible. But I'm kind of silly that way. I look for patterns that don't really mean anything. Edited by pdbman 2010-10-11 12:31 PM |
