Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: 100 Days of Ghoulie power, Part II Caleb and I drove an hour and a half on Saturday morning down into Maryland to go kayak shopping. We stopped at REI and they had none in the store. Caleb did end up getting a boomerang though. Then we went .6 miles down the road to a Hudson Trail Outfitters. We picked up 2 there that we like. We did better by buying them there than if we'd have bought them at the outfitters closer to home. Even if I'd have had the 10% off coupon that I didn't get because I didn't get to the demo day we paid less in MD. My husband's birthday is in October. We are getting him a canoe. We will probably pick up another kayak next spring, the kids and I all like to kayak, but if it's the 4 of us then one of the kids will be in the canoe with him. |

Fun and games. We got home on Saturday, went to the DCNR office and got the tags to take them out onto the lake, and we hit the water. We were only out there a few minutes and Caleb said "I love doing this". It was well worth the money. |

Champion 14677 | Subject: RE: 100 Days of Ghoulie power, Part II We are leaving in the morning for camping at the Highland Games. Gonna get my Scottish on. We will be at Grandfather Mnt and it is gonna be wet and cold. The people are fun and warm-hearted so it will balance out. Hopefully I will feel up to running the Bear. I am very unsure at this point. there is nothing like the Manatee trying to swim with the Porpoises. As is typiclal, training will go out the window for the week. I will get some strength work in but that is all, unless I run the silly bear. I'll not be doing any of the actual Games this year. I found out I do not like to participate in events that have thousands in the audience. ...Good God, the horror! I will be un-wired until next Monday, everyone have fun! |

Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: 100 Days of Ghoulie power, Part II Good morning Ghoulies! I was at the pain clinic yesterday and now I feel horrible. I got an injection in my neck and they had a hard time finding the spot. I lost track after the 8th attempt to place the needle. They even had me lift my right arm and move it at different angles for them. I've never had that before. My neck and back are really stiff today. I was planning on working from home but we had a piece of equipment fail last night and I will probably have to go in and replace it today. It's a heavy piece, too. Just my luck. |

Still hoping to make it to NC next Saturday to see you and Robin. I think it might depend on whether we want to break our ride back in two days or stay an extra day with the grandkids. We shall see. |

You may need to take some breaks on that trip, sitting too long could be bothersome. |

Didnt sleep well before my shift because it was hot. Had a nap when I got home, but still hot. Need to get a bike and short run in today...supposed to have some spurts of speed but I might just get the time in today. |

I am even going to offer up a prize to whomever logs the most miles. We need to get the rest of the Ghoulies back and in on the challenge, too. |
