Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: 100 days of Ghoulie Power! Story time You know how it's never a dull moment at my house? Well... Yesterday afternoon my cousin came over and took my daughter and her daughter horseback riding. My cousin walked, and the girls were on the horses. For those of you that saw the picture I posted on FB last night, my cousin sent me that while the girls were out riding. Not long after she sent me the picture she called me and said she had a rider down, and it was hers. She told me where they were and I jumped in the truck, Caleb came with me, and we went to find them. They weren't far up the road, and by the time we got there she was back up on the horse, there were tears, but she was on the horse. I went over and asked her if she was OK, and she showed me a BIG red mark on her right side, I imagine it is more black and blue today. Her horse wanted to lope up a small hill, and she was holding her back, and the horse bucked her off. She said she would ride home, her mom (my cousin) led the horse, and my daughter followed behind. Caleb walked beside Keri, and I followed in the truck just in case there were any more problems. When we got back to the house the girls went inside to so the girls could get drinks. I grabbed a bigger saddle for my cousin and she took the horse back out and rode her until she settled down and behaved. I sent a text later in the evening asking how she was. My cousin said her pride was hurt, and she was embarassed that Keri saw her fall, but she'll be ok. The girls wear helmets when they ride, and the bill of hers was cracked. I told my cousin to contact the company and maybe she can get a replacement at a discount. Gotta get the girls out riding again, SOON. |

I was just laughing to myself looking at Facebook. Bunches of people who have been whining about the lack of winter are now complainging that it is going to get cold. The same people whine when it rains.. then when it is too sunny. Makes me chuckle. |

Doesn't make sense to me, I find no joy in complaining. |

I have a car/bicycle brain-loomer that I can't seem to shake. Every time I get on my bike on the road my heart races and my palms sweat. And that was 30 years ago. |

I want to spend it hiking, and swimming, and running, and picking stuff up and putting it down. I think tomorrow I am going to go into the office very early, clean out my desk, send out a few emails, drop my badges off at the gate on the way home, and call it the end of a very bad chapter. |
