kaqphin - 2010-10-24 9:34 PM Hi Nibbs! How was everyones weekend?

I had a bit of a domestic diva weekend in the kitchen/garden/cleaning although there still seems to be much I would like to get done!

I had a great weekend!!

On Friday, I sat home ALONE and got a bunch of knitting done.

Saturday, I helped some friends move and hung out in their new house.  Then we all wandered around Target for an hour.  Which sounds boring, but was actually fun.

Sunday, I went to the Celtic Festival.  Bought a cute hat and a tartan scarf from the County in Ireland that my great-grandmother's family lived in.  Very cool.

Sounds good to me Jen! When Im pottering around home doing things I often prefer to have the house to myself!

I need the nights to myself every few weeks.  My mom thinks I'm really weird, but it's just something that makes me more sane.  Not sure how to really explain it.
No no, this makes perfect sense to me. Then again, I'm anti-social. But you knew that already, right?

I don't think it's so much anti-social as being introverted.

Who? Me? No... I'm not introverted. I'm just anti-social.

I can just see her going through customs.

Customs Officer: "Ma'am, we're going to have to look through this suitcase."

Opens it and peers inside

CO: "Is this really filled entirely with PopTarts?"

Yanti's Sister: "You've never met my sister"

The customs people will probably think that it's a new way to make meth or something and hold her.

Yeah!  It's Friday, Nibblets!!!! Is anyone doing anything fun for Halloween this weekend?

I'm going to a Halloween party with friends on Sunday.  Our theme this year is HalloWhedon - so a character from any show Joss Whedon (Buffy, Dr. Horrible, Firefly, Dollhouse) has done.  I'm going as Kaylee from Firefly.  A still has to figure out his costume.

Eldest is using "The Scream" mask (same as last year) and the 2nd boy, well, not sure, since he doesn't want to get back into the inflatable sumo-wrestler that he absolutely enjoyed being in last year - we'll see.

I'll think about putting on my blonde "rock-star" big-hair wig and authentic black '80's parachute pants (it's time I get rid of them, donchathink?).
