bcart1991 - 2008-07-31 10:34 PM Maddox needs to update his site.

Is it still the rant about crocs?  I think he outgrew the idea of the site.  It was the greatest site in the universe, but I mean, really, how long can you go on about those kinds of things?

Was that the site ranting about Crocs and cowl-neck sweaters and such?

Oh and cami.... yes the storm king is a micro brew... I used to live within walking distance of the brewpub where it is made... Victory makes some brilliant beers...

Just google microbrews or even brewpubs and your city's name... I bet you'll find some.

I've never actually been there, despite the fact that it's within walking distance. Of course one of my neighbors did walk back from there, got a public intox and throw in jail overnight. Alas. Maybe I will check it out some times. From what I can tell an older crowd (40s+) hangs out there.

OLDER? listen here Missy... back in my day, we respected our elders... we understood the collective wisdom that was held in those lives... and it didn't start at 40!

why I oughta...

wait, what was i saying? oh.... nevermind.

-B

I didn't say old I said older.  Just like anyone under 25 is younger.  And of course those between 25 and 40 are 'aged to perfection'.  I don't see what your problem with my vernacular is.

Yeah, he's kinda lost his touch. His book is actually pretty good, wWorth the $8 pre-sale price.

A couple years ago his rants were SO beyond funny.

I need to get back into Homestar Runner again. It stinks they blocked it at work. I <3 Strongbad, Thee Cheat, and Coach Z.

What site is that.

I've never been to the Flying Dog Brewery, though they do have some nice art on their beer containers.  I've been to the Silver Peak Brewery in Reno.  They do growler(?) refills on the full moon.  I've never had a growler, but that place gets pretty crazy that time of the month.

And about the art on the bottles for Flying Dog: That's Ralph Steadman's, or at least his style.  He did a lot of the art for Hunter S. Thompson.  I "lof" his style.

Kinda funny.

Got back in touch with one of my HS exes, who has been really helpful getting me through my whole "ordeal" without going insane.

I guess it's good to talk with someone who really knows you, huh? Who would have thought.

She's married w/ kids, so no.

That's cool, actually.

Several of my exes have been very helpful in putting things in perspective for me when I had relationships go sour.
