Actually, now that I think about it, I think I may have seen the pink one at Conte's. The new Conte's is attached to a branch of a local running store that is owned by a pro triathlete. So they have a lot of stuff.

I'll have to check that out. I'm also going to check the expo at Nation's this weekend.

Nice - I think I may go spectate for Nation's with a friend.

If you're going, let me know. I'm only swimming, so I'll be spectating for awhile.

Will do - what time does it start, again?

Yeah, because the color of the elastic thing that holds your race bib is SO FREAKING IMPORTANT.

They're females. Let them be.

Thank you

My belt is black and red.

It matched my old pair of running shoes

Hehe, last weekend I went running in a red top and black/white/red nike shorts - my fuel belt is of course, black white and red  because that's the standard color, unless you get a special-colored one. So I was very matchy-matchy. Unintentionally so. My sneakers are silver and pink, though

Hehe. One of my good guy triathlete friends calls the fact that my stuff is pink and shiny and/or matches, my "cuteness factor". Which I need because I am slow

A friend just commented on my RR from Sunday. He said my swim time should have been faster. I will take that as a complement on my swimming abilities-even if my race swim wasn't up to par.

This was my third tri-and I didn't want to over do it( like I had in my first).

When I went to the doc yesterday, she asked me if I was wearing motion controlled shoes -  for a second I gasped - but then she was like "or neutrals? Let's see if you overpronate - no, you don't..." and kept on. She did suggest that the next time I buy new shoes, I go to another store and have those people analyze my gait since it's good to have another opinion, to see if they say anything different. The first time I bought shoes, I did go to a real running store, and they fit me in neutral shoes. They've worked so far.

These are what I have right now. Previous pair of same shoe was blue:
