Artemis - 2009-05-21 7:01 PM Ok...I should go make dinner.  I'm making buffalo steak and turnip greens.  All food from my summer co-op.

Mmmmm that sounds yummy

Almost done cooking.  It all smells really good!

Sounds tasty. Haven't seen any buffalo steak in the stores here in Japan. They do have great turnips though.

There's a buffalo farm a couple of hours from us.  They come down to the co-op and farmer's markets once per month.

I bet you get all kinds of really delicious food in Japan, though.  Especially good fish.

You're right - there are lots of good foods here. We get great veggies and fish and the meat is good too....but no buffalo farms that I know of yet. Actually, I should check. I wouldn't be surprised if someone started one.

I just hope that this week doing almost nothing won't ruined too much of my fitness

I don't think it will. A few weeks, yes, but you've done some. It's basicaly tapering for you.

I agree.  It will take more than a week to derail you

I guess you all inspired me. Got up this morning (really beautiful outside) and went jogging for 10K before work. I can't remember the last time I did that...... Will be swimming at noon.
Have to go to work now...

Have a good day

You will do fine, with all the training you have put in. Just have a good talk with your ITB before the race....

Embrace the nervous feeling and savor it.   You've put in the training, you're going to do great.

Just remember, you never forget your first time
