I can't remember the last time I slept to 9 or 10 AM training day or no.  Stupid kids.  :P

Quick 35 minutes on the dreadmill and some lifting this morning.  Will get in my trainer ride about lunch time.  Today is the first day with the little women at home all day long.  Should be interesting.  They just requested The Wizard of Oz be put on.

Where is this?

Youngs Double Chocolate Stout has got to be one of the best beers.  I had a big can after the half last weekend, and it hit the spot.  Just wish we had more than one can per person!

I'm volunteering as a run course marshall (I have the last turn into the finish line). Can I sit on your cooler and offer beers to those finishing the race?

On my long ride this weekend I learned that you can get a 24 pack of natty ice for $16.99 or a 24 ounce "Natty Daddy" for 99 cents (and included with the purchase price is a red solo cup).

This freaking sucks.  I was supposed to be doing Rev2 Quassy HIM this weekend.  Instead, I'll be testing the shoulder at the Lake T weekday sprint series on Thursday night. I should prob get the wetsuit out tonight.

Good luck to all of you!

Southwest has cheap flights between Houston and Hartford.

We can pick you up at the airport.

Early trainer ride this a.m.  Need to replace run time with bike time later today.  I'm been having some issues with my left leg and foot, but things are looking up, and I'm hopeful that I'll be able to give running a shot tomorrow.

I ate like a total pig this past weekend - lots of red meat and other bad, bad stuff.  I probably drank 20 alcoholic slushes (my mom makes these with brandy.....mmmm, yummy).  Sucked it up and got on the scale this morning, and I am down a pound.  I guess I could have had more slushes
