Weekend recap not all that epic Went to Sable (new mixology bar) friday night, met a guy who was 6'11. He was definitely tall enough, maybe too tall. I know us girls are never happy. Did get ask to an after hours party on the way up in the elevator at 12:30, guessing they were just starting and I was going to bed?? I polite refused but thought about it. Saturday woke, ran, a little free weights, SHOPPING (spent way too much money and officially a size 4), and then night with the kids. They watched Back to the future while I read the 50 shades Darker, liking this one way better than the first. Sunday, cooked homemade breakfast pizzas for the kids and the ex, and made chicken enchiladas. Pee-wee footbal 60-0 the good guys and my kids scored 34 points :-) B-day party where my family asked why I am still single and if I was switching teams (they have not seen me with a man in 3 years, guess they are counting?). Back to the city to wash my hair and get ready for a TAN night out, I think! Cheri, that sounds like a normal epic, maybe not super epic. Great game for the boys. Breakfast pizza with the boys and ex? Hmm. One eyebrow is raised slightly. Janice was home on Saturday and Sunday. She has been in Atlanta all week. The most fun we had was going to the lake on Sunday and taking the boat out of the water for winterizing. This the earliest I have ever ended boating season. This fall is going to be busy, not epic busy, just boring busy. TW
TW, I still am on really nice terms with my ex and routinely spend time at "our" house in the burbs when the kids need to sleep in their own beds or functions permit us from doing the drive from burbs to city. It also part of our "deal" I cook twice a week for the kids and he eats too. He is not a good cook, babied by his mom and I dont want my kids eating frozen pizza nightly. In return he does the car stuff for me and is helping me move next weekend. As much as this sound suspicious, there are no feelings left and I see him as the father of my children and friend. NOTHING MORE. |
