4agoodlife - 2013-02-24 10:25 PM Ok...just me or did the podmen just come roaring in from out of nowhere?!?!?!?!? Welcome back, gentlemen.

I was thinking the same thing. Refreshing. We miss you guys, and I love it when you are chatty.

The differences between our conversations and your's are kind of funny though.  We get turned on by you ladies talking about nibbling each other's arms and having wild nights.  I can see you ladies rolling your eyes as we are electronically high 5'ing each other for our "sucsexes" (see what I did there?)

Now I have this urge to talk about muscle cars, football games, and the best micro beers available.

I might just have to bring you a growler from the frigid north. Not sure if you can get Alaskan Amber or White but I think I will bring a couple to share when we meet up. I am trying to get more of the micro brews in while up here.
As far as "sucksexes", I am willing to bet that almost everyone in the pod has had more than me. Alaska is not great for that, unless you want a "Tundra Wookie".
I am looking forward to a nice Lower 48 micro brew when I get back down there.

Holy sh*t... that made me spit on my monitor from laughing so hard.

Also, Alaskan Amber is very popular here in Seattle... it is everywhere.  We will definitely have to meetup and share a microbeer or 2, or 3, or 6 or 8... ahhhhh  F' it - who's paying for the cab?   LOL

Mens Room Red... That is on the list of a beer you must try when you get here.

Moose Drool - if you haven't had that before, it is a must drink.

And the grand puba of micro beers is actually British (Jo, have you had this one?)  It's call Samuel Smith's Nut Brown Ale.  $4 for a 22 oz bottle at the store, but worth every penny.

jbwills - 2013-02-24 9:17 PMSorry if this fell under TMI. I am sure I missed a lot over the past 40 pages, I might skim to try and catch up.

If you had read the last 40 pages, you'd know that this is far from TMI!  So you're good, at least in that area.  Sorry about the legal woes.  No fun, that.

I hope that the class is going well and I'm glad to hear that you are about done with the 12-hour days for now.

I take it this means no Eldorado Hill Challenge this weekend?  Undecided  Boo!  It sound like you need a day off base!

Take care of yourself and please do check in when you get the chance.

Good thing you are bringing hand warmers!

I wish I could stuff my wetsuit with personal piglets.

Sadly, at a projected 19C at race start, the water will be .2 degrees too warm for IMNZ to allow neoprene booties.

I might just have to slather my feet and hands with lanolin.

Got to watch some fast mofos this weekend at the Brooks PR event. Lots of pros there rooting on the high-schoolers, too including Desi Davila.

Brooks Hanson is actually starting an elite team here very shortly. They will be geared towards middle distance. That should be exciting! I don't know how that all works considering the brothers don't live here so, no clue who's actually heading that up. Anyway, I know that's lots of running jargon but I also know lots of people have been giving their marathon training a real look here on BT, so it's kind of tri relevant Smile

Well, she was super boring. Just sitting there. She announced that she was dropping out of Boston recently (ish) due to injury still (from back at the Olympics) I'm not a huge fan of hers so there was no drooling. Plus I was too busy gawking at some others.

Over brunch.

My bro: "So, you seeing anyone?"

Me: "Seriously?!"

Bro: "What about the brain surgeon from Sydney?"

Me: "He's not a brain surgeon. Besides, we're waiting for his daughter to graduate high school."

My brother caught onto that daughter thing right away! He's smarter than he looks.

He also pointed out that having standards--I mentioned I kinda wanted smarts as well as personality--is serious folly on this island.

Me: "I'll settle for personality."

Bro: "I'm having that printed on a hundred T-shirts for your wedding."

fast mofos?

I heart the blurry pics ... you can feel the speed!

Where's the pic of Desi? I know she's not our fave but I'm willing to entertain looks in lieu of personality.

Hahaha!

Sh*ts gonna get weird when you marry him, I hook up with the daughter ... mom?

AAAAAAAAAAAH

Make you unsay it

It's like I'm My Own Grandpa, but even more twisted, and yet strangely plausible.

I'm in a feisty mood today. I fogot my bra ...

Anyway, does that mean you and I have to get our business out of the way before you become my mom? I mean, that sounds reasonable right?

I'm not sure whether to cry, ewww, or throw a party.

Hm. Maybe all three.

This is starting to sound like one of the newer episodes of Law & Order, except there's no body. Yet.
