Subject: RE: Nibbs XLIIII went and watched an All Women's Triathlon on the weekend.... There was one of my friends partners doing her first race so I wasnt missing it.. theres another one on March 13th and apparently Im meant to be doing it... Thank goodness there are lots of SHORT race options! Im thinking I might aim for half sprint distance, can always go up a distance! But I want to train to RACE the distance (250m swim should be ok but the 10k ride and the 2.5k run will need a lot of work, esp some training on how to do it quick ) as I think that will be a lot less time consuming and demanding on my health that just trying to get built up for a LONG distance... Plus... with a group of people wanting to do the race I dont think backing out unless Im really sick will be easy! |
