Welcome back, I can't believe we are only on page 64 either.  It was a slow weekend for TAN. 

The Circle Tap should still be open.  Rudy's is an option too I suppose.

So this is all for a monday? WOW 

Not really much of a drinker anymore. Sometimes night like tonight make me wish I hadn't canceled my TV service.  Or that I had real friends here instead of efriends. 

Friday was a big day. 

Don't sweat not having TV crap to watch.  I could use some greasy tacos from Rudy's right now.  Could you Fedex me some?

Sure, but I only use DHL, so you should see them in 2-3 months. 

Never mind then.  I'll figure something else out.

Night. 

Real friends are hard to come by.  Then they move and you hear from them less. Then they get "important" jobs and you hear from them even less.  Then they get boyfriends who turn into husbands then they have babies and you rarely hear from them at all.  Personally I think it's important to find things that you like to do and that can be done solo if need be since relationships wax and wane.  Of course you (like me) are a quality time person (I bet you five bucks) so there's a rather deep need to be in good company, which makes things a little harder.

hopefully the internet ban will lift by weeks end..

Nobody calls me either.  This makes me so sad.  I think I'm going to go to bed. *Sniffle, sniffle.* 

Well what's actually happened to me is that I've always had one really good friend to do stuff with. Now it's not always been the same one friend, but I've never really had a lot of friends. Out here I've been able to find some friends who want to do certain things, but never one friend who wants to hang out and do everything together (with one exception, and we all know how that's going (p.20-37 & 62-64)). And over the years I've been into a lot of extremely solo activities, or at least have only done what I want to do. Now I feel like sharing parts of my life with someone, and there's no one who wants to be there (with the previously mentioned one exception excluded as I would like to remain sane). It doesn't help that now I have found an extremely focused activity that 90% of the population just doesn't get, but I really love it (for now, hopefully that love continues) and that's put off some of my old friends I've met here...they were drinking buddies. And the other people I know here, from church, well...don't really fit in there either due to some past life experience and the fact that I'm probably agnostic. So that leaves me in my cave, which is surrounded by people, who don't want to talk...and a job where people don't really like me, they just smile at me until I leave.

I could continue to do everything by myself but that does just seem to leave a void, no one to be happy with about what I do or about what they do (with that dammable exception). So you can actually see my problem is simple and complex, just like me, I'm smart but I'm an idiot.

And now I'm going to shower so I don't smell like chlorine anymore. 

Have a good night, enjoy smelling better.  It always takes me at least two showers to fully rid myself of the smell.
