Good morning, TAN!

Just wanted to be the first to post today. Went to sleep earlier but woke up hungry and haven't been able to get sleepy again. Maybe some warm, sweet milk?

Mmmm. One steak sammitch plenty mayo (in honor of Schwamm) down. Workin' on the warm sweet milk. Yeah, the kind from a cow then out of a carton, you sickos.

I'm in a thread, talking to myself. Gee, that has never happened before.

Well, at least the milk was nice and I feel all warm and happy inside.

But not sleepy, not a bit.

Morning TAN.  Good luck killing this one off today, I don't see it making it to the weekend.

Morning TAN. I'm here nice and early. Ick. Made a dent in the moving last night, though I still have a lot more to go. But hopefully by tomorrow, it will mostly be big furniture items. Hanging pictures and curtains is the least fun, though - that will happen last. Going to buy couches this weekend And I've decided that if I don't end up liking the look of the slipcover that I choose for the loveseat, I can just return it and get a new one - Ikea is good like that.

My training is officially shot to sh*t this week.

Um, I do, because I have my first Oly in a month!!! And I'm not exactly triathlete-extraordinaire.

looked at your logs... one bad/non-existent week of training won't kill your chance of finishing your OLY.  really.  I know this from personal experience.  Get back in the swing next week... don't be like me.

I think my strategy will be find a groove in the swim and stick with it, merely survive the bike, run the first 5K at a reasonable pace and then the last 5K like I'm being chased by wild dogs, and possibly throw up at the end. That's probably the only way I can make it through.

So my boss emailed me at 7ish this morning to tell me that the meeting I was going to leave at 745 for has been canceled.  And he's going to call at 8 to discuss it further. Wonderful. Crap, now I need to call to see if I can get my massage that I had to cancel yesterday when he called me to tell me about this meeting the first time.

It's his MO.  Usually I have to call customers to reschedule stuff for these short notice-soon-to-be-canceled meetings.  And then call and un-reschedule when he cancels them.

If I don't I'm not going to worry about it too much.  Nothing is feeling particularly tight today, just something I usually get done pre-race to make sure everything is as loose as possible so I avoid hurting myself.

Mmm...massage. I think I'm going to schedule a massage for a day or two after the Marine Corps Marathon.
