BJG85 - 2009-06-10 10:45 PM I didn't do anything today Frown. I slept through my alarm this morning, so didnt run before work. I was swamped at work so I had to work through lunch. And then after work I went out with some buddies to trivia night at a local bar. Ended my "peach" streak. Yell

It happens to all of us.  At least today is a new day!

serendipity - 2009-06-10 8:36 PM I had pizza at my son's school carnival.  It was yummy.

Pizza is my big weakness...  I try to stay out of pizza parlors, they're like little crack houses, only filled with meat and cheese....

Pei Wei too...  I heart me some Chicken Pad Thai...

Dang, now I'm hungry....

***Food toppage***

Oh wait.  You said Pei Wei.  Sorry about that

toddg - 2009-06-11 12:13 AM 7 mile run in this evening. Best part....new 10k PR of 47:32. Finally broke the 48:00 goal.

Now I need to go scrounge up some good junk food after reading through all the previous pizza and Thai food posts..those look soooo yummy. We've got a really good Thai restraunt in town and it's always the Chicken Pad Thai for me when we go.  And they bring out a huge plate.

Congrats on the PR!!

Remember the cheesecake that your mom used to make from Philadelphia cream cheese and graham cracker crumb crust....

Now take a second one and turn it over on top of the first to make it double-ly good...

Now make it oreo crumbs instead of graham cracker crumbs....

Put some chocolate streaks on a plate....

Set 1/6th of this deliciousness on top of chocolate...

Top with whipped cream and a blackberry....

-----That is what I had for dessert.....

Just 1/6th? I'd have had at least 1/2.

I had to search back through the previous challenges to find this post, but check out this cheesecake....

Chocolate coconut cream cheese king cake. I'm stilll trying to find the right occasion/excuse to order one. Maybe I should tell the family it'd make a great father's day gift!

http://www.bakesmartonline.com/ambrosia/selectproduct.php?sub=King%20Cakes%20for%20Shipping

Now I really am not a fan of coconut, but I would have a real hard time resisting that if it were set in front of me.

I *heart* pizza. The only thing that saves me is that you can't get good pizza in NC. (And no TANers, I am not talking about *that* kind of pizza. I'm talking about this kind:

We don't have great pizza in this part of the state either.  I've stumbled across one or two places that were good but not great.

I found an awesome pizza place about 2 blocks away from where I live.  It is definitely not helping the waistline...

ebshot - 2009-06-11 5:47 AM I have a crazy day today.  I am babysitting this morning.  Liam's best bud again.  He's a good kid so that should be fine.  Then running after I drop them off at school.  Then taking Cole to an appointment.  Pickup Liam from school.  Shower.  Nap.

Cole also is also having an observation being done this morning.  I am very nervous about it.  This will be the deciding factor in his diagnosis.  Finger's crossed it gives us some answers!!

I hope the observation goes well!  I know you have been searching for some answers for awhile now.

It sounds like summer is in full swing for you!  It's still gray and cold here.  I don't get it, it's JUNE.  It should be warm and sunny.  Not rainy and in the 50s.  Boo.

Yeah, I'm finally starting to get a little nervous.  With all the racing I've done the past few weeks I haven't had much time to give this race much thought.....till now

I'm heading to Cleveland for the weekend, and hope to get some decent running weather.  It's miserable to trudge through the humidity -- feels like I'm swimming instead of running.

Yeah, crazy cool here too.  Some weather guy said we were going to be summerless this year.  Ummmm, yeah, I'll believe that when I see it.
