Regular 102 Tampa, FL | Subject: RE: FB Mafia Wars Support Group Vegas is open! Unfortuanatly I didn't realize it until after I used up my energy pack. Is definitely different than the other levels. You have to do certain jobs to even get properties. Also their is a Fight Club tournaments under fighting you can do and bet on. However as I learned on my first one it appears you are betting on the winner for the whole tournament when it asks you to bet - not just who will win that fight. At least I think so, I bet on myself to win the first round, which I did, but then it played out the rest of the tournament and i ended up losing and losing my bet. Seems pretty cool though for now. |

Is Vegas a permanent city or just another one of these 'open for 7-10 days' cities? |

I must have tried bunches of times now...oh well, I shall keep working on Bangkok. |

Sensei Sin City | Subject: RE: FB Mafia Wars Support Group seriously hating this game. CAN'T get enough money to do the bangkok jobs... Then this happens: wait 72 hours to get my 300k from my "gambling den". Cash out, and in 60 seconds, it's down to 40k since I people fought me taking B10k each time. 200k, gone in 60 seconds after waiting 72 hours... I CAN'T finish levels 6 and 7 when I need 2 million just to buy the crap to do the job and I only get about 500k total every 3-4 days... |

Sometimes I'll go days...other times as soon as I log in, like Kido, I just get clobbered before I can do anything. Part of that is the crappy internet here for me. The internet in my room doesn't always work but I won't realize that until I log into FB and find out I can't load MW. By the time I figure that out and walk across the compound to the internet cafe, I've been cleaned out. I used to try to keep money without banking it for a bit to save the 7%, but because of the internet here I have to bank it before closing out for the day. That way if I log in with full health at least all I lose is health instead of all my Baht. Sometimes I even bank it right after I level up. Anytime my health is pretty high I bank my Baht immediately. |

Champion 5874 Milton, GA | Subject: RE: FB Mafia Wars Support Group Well Vegas is definitely different. For starters, you need to do jobs AND fight in order to clear each tier. Found out that I need to increase my stamina and attack in order to level up as it puts you up against others that may be many levels higher than you. In addition, I've done a couple of the fight tournaments but you really have no control over it and just a gamble (well, I guess it is Vegas after all). So build up your stamina points and attack points if you want to complete each tier. |

Is it going to be another one of those temporary jobs? I actually hate those...they really really take away from trying to complete a city. What stinks is that you can really get some good stuff by doing them! The third level prize is usually a vehicle well over 100 attack or defense.... |

Regular 102 Tampa, FL | Subject: RE: FB Mafia Wars Support Group Vegas is pretty cool in my opinion. You have to get through each level to get a property then you have to collect certain items to upgrade it. The one minor thing is your vault can only hold 100,000 chips to start, you have to keep upgrading it to hold more, so you can get robbed quite a bit, just need to always make sure health is under 20. Still not quite understanding the Fight Tournaments yet, I get past the first level then lose and have to start back at the first level again. I will definitely be doing Vegas now and say screw Bankok. Will go back to that probably only on the double mastery weekends and just collect cash for now so i will have plenty when I get back to it. |

I also like that now you get to choose from 3 different people to go up against on the fight path. I was getting my butt kicked before with all of those higher level people on there. |

I think I only have one other...it's whatever one is to the RIGHT of the Koh-I-Noor.... |

I have a question for those of you who are already in Las Vegas. Do we have to go through all 5 districts and then do it again? Oh, do explain what "energy path" and "flight path" are for us folks not allowed in Vegas yet.... Districts are equal to episodes in Bangkok. There are currently 5 districts. When you click on each district, you can choose energy or fight. The first levels are fairly low energy requirements (think 8-12 for a job with 12% mastery). If you choose to the fight path, you fight other people instead of completing some of the jobs, so if your energy is low and you have a strong mafia, the fight path might be for you. I found the answer to my question on the MW forums. Apparently, there is a glitch that a lot of people are having, so my districts are not reverting back to empty once I complete the first level. Each district has to be completed 4 times. There are properties that you can buy along the way, after completing certain jobs. So far, the properties are upgraded by obtaining parts (similar to the chop shop in NY). There is a property called the "vault" where you can convert some of the NY money to Las Vegas chips. My conversion is $500,000 to 1000 chips, once a day. I believe the conversion rate goes up once I upgrade the vault. |

Expert 618 | Subject: RE: FB Mafia Wars Support Group Ummmmmmmm, yeah. So you need 120 of the Seux Maching Guns for two of the first three jobs on the 4th tier of the Assasin level. That would cost 3.3 million baht to go from the 90 I already have. Righhhhhtttttt. Only redeeming thing is that it IS the last tier, so as soon as I'm done with it I'm through Bangkok. I figure about a month from now with the way money piles up. Jenn, someone I know sent you a bunch of phones. We'll see if more can be sent. |

And only one of those is on a Level 4. The rest are Level 2 so I know there are more satellite phones needed afterwards! And yes, they are on my wishlist! |
