I think you need them in 6 but not 7.

That is correct.  You will need satellite phones in episode 6, but not episode 7.

I had the issue at first with the second district not opening up  for the second tier, but went back to check the fight path and had an open job, once i completed the job it opened up. Not sure though if they meant it ot be you had to finish all jobs though in each path or not.

So, which award level do you guys go for in the daily chance?  I usually try to let it fill up and go for the RP's...but I noticed that the fifth bar says "20 energy points".  Is that just 20 energy points refilled or no kidding does it raise your energy number by 20 points?  I.e. if you max energy was 100 before, would you now have 120?  Or does it just fill up 20 of your energy...so if you have 0/100 would you have 20/100?

Just some random thoughts...  Please feel free to comment...


There is so much going on, I put a lot of it on the back burner.  Does ANYONE pay attention to the "chop shop" and "weapons depot"?

I also have forgotten completely about the "crime spree"  Sending requests to get gifts to help or hurt you (if that makes sense).

I seem to have all the colectables, so far except the diamonds from robbing (and the Vegas ones).  They NEVER drop the diamonds and I have done a lot of robbing.  I wonder if there is a trick to it.

I need to get into Vegas because 6 and 7 on Bangkok take WAY too much money to get any progress (repeated complaint),  Vegas would allow me to make some progress.  Otherwise, I just wait for 72 hours, collect my Baht untill I have enough, then finish a job.  This usually takes at least a week or more.  Or just repeat jobs I already done to waste energy and get a LITTLE cash.  I even resorted to using reward points to get Baht, wich is a rip off.

I'm pretty good on the achievments.  Got most of them.  HOWEVER, not a fan of the "pocket rockets".  If I had JUST started playing poker (as this is obviously a way to force you to play other zynga games) it would be easy to level up.  However, I have been playing poker for a while, and it takes FOREVER to level up 3 times for me.

I don't pay attention to war requests.  I'm at 84 wars out of 500 for that achievment.  sucks...

I also need to do jobs on my cell phone, which is a hastle too.

going 9-0 while robbing is HARD.  I only have 12 out of 100 I need.  And like I said.  I rob a LOT.

I'm 69 out of 87 in achievements, granted 10 are in Vegas which I don't have access to.

The 20 points are just a re-fill.  I thought they might be an add and did it one time.  No dice.

I do my chop shop and weapons depot all the time.  I'm up to level 9 or 10 in each and get some REALLY good stuff when I cash in the parts.  Definitely worth it as it is free stuff over time.

I'm through two jobs in the first chapter of the last round of episode 7 in Bangkok.  Need another 600k baht to do the last job to move onto chapter 2.  1% job of course.  But there is progress toward the end of episode 7 at least!!

Oh, and for the umpteenmillionth time I did not get into Vegas, even on the 20% chance.

I don't always collect my chop shop or weapons depot.  I just click the "collect" at the top of the screen, since it is annoying to have to click through to create a vehicle/weapon.  I also don't bother asking people for parts.

I have two of the diamonds.  I originally had two of the same diamond; however, I traded one of those with JBrasher for a different one.  I haven't had a diamond drop in a long time.

I am so glad I am in Las Vegas!  I am on the third level of Episode 7 in Bangkok and I keep running out of Baht.  At least, with Las Vegas I can made some progress while collecting Baht from properties.  I currently need about 500,000 Baht to complete the next job.  I got into Las Vegas on 5% odds and was extremely glad.

I don't keep up with the achievements.  If I get a pop-up that says that I completed one, great.  Otherwise, oh well.  I do try to click on jdicarlo's war assists, just because it gives 3 experience points.  (I think they stopped that, though.)  I haven't played the poker at all.

Kido, what diamonds do you need?  I've got 1-2 extra & would be willing to trade.

After you help out the Kido, I have an extra Koh-I-Noor I can trade for any of the others.  Depending on what you need (consumables for NY still or are you done there?) I can trade some stuff for the other diamonds.

I do work on the chop shop and weapons depot since you can get some good vehicles and weapons that way to strengthen your mafia...and it's essentially "free" since you just collect the items as you go and then build.  It is frustratingly slow to get the items though.  They occasionally drop on jobs/fights, but mostly you have to depend on people to click your links...and it doesn't do the person any good.  I think it would really help if Zynga gave the clicker an incentive...like if you click to give someone else a cement block you get one too.  I click on every one of those I can see (unless my internet is having a really bad day) but I know a lot of mine don't get clicked because of the time of day they end up posted...people don't see them.  So I do a lot of work clicking and see no benefit...

I did the crime spree to get to the level 26 award...after level 26 you get nothing good so it isn't worth it.  Though, I like responding to requests to get the 50 energy.

I have only gotten two diamonds in all of my robbing and I REALLY rob a lot.  Like I have 335 stamina rob a lot.  I wonder if you have to get to a certain level for them to really start dropping fast...I believe I am Level 6.

I realize you do need a lot of Baht for Bangkok...but are you also doing all your robbing in Bangkok to get Baht too?  It isn't much, but it helps!  Like I tell everyone else...if you get bored you can always loot me satellite phones.

Ditto on the achievements.  I will be able to get the Poker ones though because I'd never played the poker before.  I don't like playing poker but I am trying to get through them.  I got the reach level 6 one and now I need to get the up three levels one...because I think it reset me when I was on level 4.  So I need to get up one more level which you are right...takes FOREVER!  You need to win a lot to really make progress.  I look for tables with very few people on them...more chance of winning!

Yeah, the war assist achievement is annoying.  BUT....you get a point for assisting in your own wars!  I'm up to 360-something out of 500 I believe because I declare war every day.  As soon as I have that achievement I plan on stopping the war thing.  I click on others when I see them, but they are only every 6 hours so I usually miss them.  But if you want the achievement, declare your own wars and you will make progress.

9-0 is hard...I hit the harder jobs first, then if I get to the last easy job and have two or less failures I call for backup on the failures.  I'm in the 20's I believe.  But definitely not easy!

I am also not in Vegas despite 5+ tries on the 20% odds.  I am betting they got their quota of beta testers and are not letting anyone else in...but letting us think we have a chance!

Lastly....I have hit the 5A 1% jobs in Bangkok and it's driving me crazy!  I need a double mastery weekend!!!!!!

Regarding the diamonds, they're completely random as far as I can tell.  My stamina's at 666, I'm 69% to L9, and it wasn't until I got near L8 that I landed the last 2 diamonds(which dropped within 2 minutes of each other). 

I have 3, yes THREE, of the Great star of Africa diamonds and only one of the "Pair of the Sancy".  That's it.

I just went in to do Chapter two on Episode 6 the one where you need satellite phones. I cashed in some reward points to do this one. I had 9 satellite phones and MW never took any of my phones for doing the job. I did the entire job and still have 9 left. A glitch yes but I will take it.

I already have Great Star...well, if you get more than one of any of them, let me know and I'll trade you a Koh-I-Noor for one.

I have a Pair of the Idol's Eye if you want it.  Do you have any of the Daily Chance collection you'd be willing to trade?

I've knocked out a couple episodes(all the way through L3) in Moscow with 1 click thanks to glitches.

Alright, how about you send me a buttload of satellite phones?

Finally enough baht to do the last job in Chapter one of the 4th tier of Episode 7.  It is a 1% of course.

But I'm pretty sure I will not need the Seux gun after this Chapter which means I might be dumping all 120 which would give me a crapload of baht.  Need to figure it out though as I am not going to short-change myself!

I should be through the job by tomorrow or Thursday at the latest.

I still have not gotten a single diamond and I'm on L6 of the robbing.  I did stop doing much robbing though as I am getting a ton of good stuff from fighting and put most of my stamina there (I only have 90).  I'm at 930-ish for my "icing" as well so can almost taste the 1,000 icing achievement!

I hate the 1% jobs!  I wish I could wait for a double mastery weekend to do them...but I'm sorta stuck on that one at the moment.

I am at about 986 or so for the icing achievement...can't wait!  I only run through my health though...which takes about 50-60 of my 340 stamina....I don't do extra...not worth the risk of staying over 20 health.

Vegas is open to all!  Went in and knocked out a bunch of the first round of jobs.  Tried the fight tournament and got smoked (even though I had the best odds at 2:1 - go figure).  Unlocked the one Slots property.  Once I get through the community job it should unlock the boss?
