I know it's an outrageous suggestion and I struggle with it myself, but could it just be that!???? Oh and I'm still eating - found something which is basically almonds glued together in a flat circle with honey, glucose syrup and sugar - I think I broke three teeth, my fingers are all sticky and I'm in heaven! |

Haha! My fav is the 14. Guy who bought a nice new white spandex unitard and shaved all of his extremities.
I think I would be the person who looked like they got flour-bombed with sunscreen. Bob's Doggie Shoes right here! OKAY I HAVE IMPORTANT NEWS FOR ONCE I nearly dropped dead when my dad asked me if I was still planning to do the Ironman race in Perth (WA) in December, and if they'd really let me carry the Indonesian flag over the finish line. He asked me if I would get a medal, and maybe he could have it if he was still alive? (SEE BOTH MY PARENTS JUST WANT TO STEAL MY STUFF HA HA) I didn't think he ever noticed I did triathlons or anything like that. I am shocked my father knows anything at all about my life that doesn't have to do with him. He also said he'd hit up business friends for official sponsorship (most of my trip expenses are already paid but there's ALWAYS stuff I need money for on a major trip!) ... currently the most promising is Indomie, which is Our Nation's Very Most Favorite Brand of Instant Noodle! (and they export to Australia). Powerade Isotonik only sponsors me for local races and gives me free product. Excellent news! It's way cool about the potential sponsor but even more cool that you dad showed interest :-) |

Been trying to drop a few pounds and have been using the My Fitness Pal app on my phone to track food intake and some kind hearted jackaroo left donuts in the office, yesterday I was able to resist today not-so-much. Apparently 1 maple frosted donut from Dunkin' is 270 calories! Curses Foiled again. Swimming tonight and beach weekend starting on friday. |

Gotta wonder if WTC (although technically IMC is NAS) is reaching saturation point and "dumping" some races, especially those less popular among pros because they're so close to Kona and not worth many KPR points. For the record, Ray Maker is a smokin' hot redhead. Hooooo boy ... |

Have you seen the "Challenge Penticton" rumor? Very interesting... Hadn't heard this, but did know that the current RD was 'relinquishing control' and that changes were possible. Another reason why I was debating signing up for 2013...Too bad, because I have family and friends in/around Penticton, so would've been nice to have an IM race there...time will tell I guess--there are all sorts of rumours that the race will be moved to another interior town, so we shall see. |

I can see that. I've eaten cereal with lots of interesting things ... syrup, butter, yogurt, coconut milk, strawberries, chocolate, Nutella, but never applesauce (that I remember). Running out of milk is really unforgivable, though. You need to keep some powdered or canned around in case of contingencies like that, or real emergencies, for that matter. You keep a survival kit around? One in house, one in car, one at work? |
