Morning Ghoulies.

I spent most of yesterday in the yard. I didn't get much of a chance over Easter. The weather was horrible Friday and Saturday. Sunday was perfect,but it was Easter. I still have TONS to do. I was thinking I would take today off, but then work had other ideas for me.

Do you need me to write a note to your boss to excuse you from work today?

Um...

On Saturday Donnie took Keri to softball practice.

On Sunday she wanted to pitch. They couldn't find her catcher's mitt. She needs a catcher's mitt, and she has a tournament this weekend. I got online and ordered a new one, and even paid extra to have a technique done that will almost completely break it in.

Her softball coach has her catcher's mitt. So yesterday I tried to cancel my order. I just received an email with my order status. Not only was the order not cancelled, I was charged 3 times for it. That's a lot of $$. That's also kind of the opposite of canceling my order. :-/

that is an expensive mitt! Hope they figure it out.

I had better not. I need to make some headway for work as well.

Soccer practice got rained out after about half an hour last night. Softball practice never got started. It was less the rain, and more the lightning that cancelled practices, but either way the weather was nasty. The wind was blowing so hard it was rocking my car.

today is the first day in a while that I am feeling human again.Allergies are so bad this year my meds were not working.  Went to Dr. and they added two more prescriptions on top what what I am already taking.  Dang.  I have decided it is time to visit the allergist and talk about taking shots.  Taking four different meds at one time to combat allergies is crazy!

I was just reading an article the other day about how the colder than normal winter is going to make allergies worse for people this year. SUCKTASTIC!

Basically I need to wait until they get here, next Tuesday, and then return them and I can get a refund. I want ALL of my money to be refunded. I shouldn't have to pay for shipping, either way, for items I didn't order. I've dealt with this company a few times in the past and never had problems, I'm not sure I'll deal with them again in the future though.

Kendra, that sucks. That is a lot of medication. I know you are hesitant about the shots, but they have changed  my world.

Tell me why, if someone tells you that they have a meeting from 11-12 you would schedule (an important) meeting with them at noon, IN ANOTHER BUILDING 10 MINUTES AWAY?

I'm going with... because you just don't give a damn about other people, and you paid no attention to the fact that they had a meeting already scheduled.

This week, and for the next few weeks there are open gyms for basketball girls in grades 5-7 on Monday's and Thursday's. Keri has been going. This is run by the junior high basketball coaches, and they do some skills work, conditioning, and play some basketball games.

The coaches like Keri. Yesterday I got to be a fly on the wall. I was there to watch a bit, I was standing in the hallway, and one of the coaches said I was welcome to come on in and watch. None of the coaches know who I am, or who I was there to see. I got to be a fly on the wall. The girls were playing 5 on 5. I'm not sure how many times I heard "nice move, Keri" and "great shot, Keri." The coaches were talking about her, too. Good things. Afterwards the head coach told Keri she was a great ball handler and he may have her play up next year (meaning junior high varsity team). I don't think he knows she'll only be in 6th grade next year, she won't be on the junior high team yet. She was pretty pumped after ward. She only had an hour though for her dad to get her home, toss some food at her, and get her to softball practice.

I left from the gym to take Caleb, and 2 other boys to soccer practice. I made dinner at 8:00 last night for the kiddos.

Tonight is going to be another crazy night. When Keri gets home from school she needs to change clothes, and eat a snack on the way in to the park. She is meeting with the second softball coach. We'll go right from there half an hour down the road to her travel team softball practice. She has a tournament this weekend, and Caleb has 2 soccer games tomorrow. The fun never stops.
